But never have we had a complete blackout post HTDs. They normally give us at least 1 or 2 SCs of FDs/LCDs. Even for Des' season with the whole revolving door to her heart.
This season - nothing. It does get suspicious when something like this happens.

Maybe because someone leaves then...... comes back again at the very end. (Josh) This has never been done so maybe this is the season for that??????

Possible ? Or some drama comes on at the end. I don't get the sense that it is Josh leaving and returning because someone ID'd him in DR so scratch

I think watching the edit now is key merely because it seems clear that we will be getting Sqat from SCs anytime soon.

Obviously we are still too early in the game to make a judgement call like this having just watched ep1 but perhaps it is valuable to take a note of the edit going forward. Check where the camera pans when key lines are spoken. This is all easier to figure out non-spoiled because right now all most here can see is Josh. No one is able to call this unbiased more's the pity.

Thanks Auntie! Another question: who picks who going on 1-1? Lead? Producer? Or both? For example, I can believer Andie picked Eric/Marcus/Josh/Nick, bur Cidy???

I'm thinking this season might actually be straightforward as in no gimmicks since they are dedicating it to Eric. I hope they will show the love story and less drama.

Cody doesn't get a rose from this date, right? I have thought in the past that one way of kicking a person off the show was to give them a one on one that they wouldn't come back from.

Both. They have to see whether a contestants has a personal story that could tie into the date.. or fear etc... See: Sarah on Sean's season..etc.
Plus, the producers like to play the "Whose turn is it?" game. The lead has an input(so it's def not all producer driven), but I'd say 65%-35% in favor of the producers. :yes:

It's not that they say... "Okay, you have to go on a date with XXX and not give XXX a rose at the end of your date.".. It's more like: "Okay Sean, we are at a point in the season(episode 4) where you should go on a date with somebody that you are probably going to dump....Who would you like this person to be? Who is going to get the ax, unless she ups her game? " .... That's how Sean had a 1-on-1 date with Leslie.

thanks Aunties..i think many folks--including me-- were mostly referring to the most recent devastating 'war'..Clare vs Nikki who got 0 date together.. ...Talk about more blindsided impact on FRC> Added Shocking reactions> More Dramatic> More $$$ . Poor Clare...and Poor Nick..or..Josh

That's so true. Absolute facts is the way to go. I got a feeling that Chris is the absolute hidden guy this time around as there are those caps missing for epi 6/7 and like you said, the FD/LCD caps are completely missing this time around.

Well, the leave and come back has been done before, during bachette season was Jillian with Reid being let go at F3 then come back during FRC and returning. I am seriously wondering if the the anomosity between Nick and Josh is because Josh was let go at F3, then returned during the LCD of Nick's. That is something that hadn't happened before.
