It says unexpected guests, I'm thinking more like surprise extra contestants being thrown in. Since there's no challenges and it basically just all hook-ups, I don't really see a reason for them to make an appearance. I'd rather they just live tweet it and leave the others to the appearances and debauchery.

Live tweeting sounds good to me. I think we banded about the idea they could host a competition but since the filming is on location somewhere and they may or may not have comps, its just as well there is no Lowe appearance.

I do not know if anyone posted this or not but abc is doing another spinoff of the bachelor it is called bachelor in paradise it will be with former contestants on a tropical island looking for love. Chris Harrison will host

Yes, I read about this yesterday. Bachelor In Paradise sounds so much better than Bachelor Pad. Tropical locations, romantic dates, very exciting stuff. I liked Bachelor Pad, but it wasn't really about romance, although that did happen for some couples. This show sounds really good because it's focusing on couples, not winning money at the end. And although the outcome of this show is not about a proposal, I don't think, it will be fun to see who ends up with who at the end of it all. I can't wait to find out more about it, I think I'm going to really enjoy this show. I just hope that the cast is a good one.

^^ Money is still an aspect of the game. :) The rules/format is a bit peaked, but the premise is still the same.

btw, I am actually extremely shocked how much it is supposed to resemble "Paradise Hotel".... Actually it's pretty much "Paradise Hotel" - Bachelor Edition..

I didn't read anything about money. Where did you read that? Chris Harrison said on twitter that it is going to be totally different than Bachelor Pad.

Well, they are promoting a "brand new spin-off" obviously they are going to say it's totally new and different. And let's not forget that we are talking about Mr. "Most-shocking-ever" here Hugesmile

Casting for this was still done as "BP4". Same schedule, same people, same target-audience, same potential outcome.
You wanna always tweak your shows to improve your brand. (see SC "LIVE" wedding, it was still a wedding(something that has been done before), but the LIVE aspect was new, hence they made sure it was promoted as a "TV first" etc.)

There is money to be won, so the premise stays the same. They just want to distance themselves from this aspect and concentrate on the romance. (because: (1) it didn't work out as well as they'd hoped. (2) they have plenty of competition(hence it's nothing original))

Well I was hoping for another romantic show, not one about winning money. I guess we'll see where this one goes. Overall, it does sound better than Bachelor Pad though.

I know it was inevitable, that doesn't mean I'm happy about the new configuration of the Fan Forums. We are all, except Des, lumped together! I'm lazy, don't like the extra step to see if anything has been posted here! Just sayin.......
