Thanks Linds. What a large undertaking! Is there a reason they want to buy and flip their current house while they build their dream home? I'm assuming they hope to make a good profit from it? Sounds like a headache though! 

And Molly is looking even better. Good for her.

Jason's business is now real estate and what I see us they are making sacrifices and cutting corners to get ahead. Been there, done that and, it does work. I'm impressed.

They talked about building their new house a while ago on their podcast (maybe during JP or Andi's season? It felt like a long time ago), but they didn't talk about the whole flipping thing. I wonder if that was a recent decision, because they needed the extra funds to build their dream home the way they wanted. It does sound pretty stressful!

The market in the Seattle area is ridiculously hot right now. I think they are smart to work extra hard right now to make some profit.

I think it's smart especially if they're getting their current house for a good price. They can also save money on commissions with Jason being a realtor.

IMO they must be getting a good deal on the house they've been renting. Taking into consideration the cost of renovating, which increases the value, but because they are purchasing at what I think is less than market value, they probably will be able to sell it for a good profit.

These types of transactions can back fire. Just because you sink $50,000 in renovations, doesn't mean the house is worth $50,000 more. Or when building your own home, you always go over your budget, always.

I'm not sure how active he is in real estate, but he must know what he's doing.

The market here is so hot that I have friends who have had people walk up to their door and tell them they want to buy their homes! It's crazy. so even with renovations, I think they will do just fine.

So last night I was given some information that isn’t out there yet, so I figured I’d let you know about it now. If this was supposed to be out there someone would’ve gotten wind of it and ran with it. Until today. Molly Mesnick last week made mention of the fact that she was filming a TV show but she couldn’t say what it was. I’ve been told what it is. Jason and Molly & Sean and Catherine (oh boy, here come the boos and hisses) recently just filmed an episode of “Celebrity Wife Swap” that will air in July. Catherine was filming in Washington last weekend with Jason, and Molly was here in Dallas filming with Sean. If you’re not familiar with the show, it’s just what the title says. “Celebrities” swap wives for an episode and live the other person’s life. No, they don’t live together, but they become their “wife” in their life. Funny thing is, Sean and Catherine have no kids. So exactly how will it be difficult for Molly to go live Catherine’s life in Dallas when for all we know…well…we don’t know what she does.

I think it has the makings of one hilarious show.

Sounds like fun. I will definitely watch.
