I think he came on the show to promote "himself" so to speak.  His business ventures and maybe an entertainment career.  I don't see his costume business as generating real income, and I don't think he does either.  He is a real ham for attention.... I can see him being well suited to the reality TV world.  Fun guy but definitely a perpetual bachelor type.

Yep. Admittedly not that well but we have associated in common friend circles. I won't give away a lot of detail obviously . I've never watched the bachelor or bachelorette (... yeah... I know... shocker) so I'll be tuning in this season just to see JJ.

btw, JJ and Kat (from JP's season) share several friends. I believe they also hang out with each-other on multiple occasions.

Ha, we were speculating that he might be hoping for a spot on "the Bachelor".   If all else fails, ride the reality train!  Granted I don't know what his exact motivations are... this is speculation based on what I have gathered.  Either way he should be fun to watch. A guy who willingly wears a fuzzy bear suit he created himself out to a bar is made for a program like this I guess.

Seems like he is a producer's dream.
