If they included this scene in the LCD, everyone would have known that she was the one. they removed it, Edit is the key!!!

Same with the earrings. I did see her touching her ears while chatting with JP's Dad...but we heard a VO. Sneaky producers!

JP sister just tweeted this about the ear rings he gave Nikki during the show. We all suspected he gave them to her on her hometown as her b-day gift but of course it was never shown. During the MTP she was pointing them out to the family but you couldn't hear what was said so we never knew what it was about. Just another thing TPTB didn't show us about their love story. I would think that was very special to JP and his family and would of wanted that part shown but of course it wasn't... I think they are very unique and what a special gift to her! If he didn't know she was the one earlier he definately had his mind made up by hometowns when he gave her these!

From M & G, JP was already attracted to Nikki as shown by his expression. He is interested in Nikki since he keep asking questions about herself, work, family. Their relationship was going slow and steady and we saw the progression of their relationship during the group dates and 1 on 1 in vietnam. By the time they had their 2nd 1 on 1 date in Miami, he introduced Nikki to the family, gave her his favourite flower (sunflower), a hat in the deleted scene, brought her to his favourite venezuelan restaurant ( as per blog) and  to his "office". While in Miami, his cousin confirmed that they talk for more than an hour and JP told him that Nikki was already the main choice at that point. This is probably the time he asked his father for the earrings which he gave to Nikki during HTD. In his blog, he mentioned that Nikki's father is similar to his Dad. During FD, he chose to spend the horseback riding date with Nikki (his favourite date per blog). When Nikki told him ILY, he explained in his blog why he is caught off guard ( he is not there YET). During LCD, he played the song he composed for Nikki (deleted scene). I would assume by that time the feeling is reciprocated but JP does not want to verbalize and chose to show only by action. JP is gentle with Nikki and i noticed that he kept on whispering and kissing her on the shoulders (which he does not do with the other girls). If only TPTB show us the romance, the finale and ATFR would have a different ending (romantic instead of awkward). But this would deviate from the script and planned edit, hence these gestures of JP was only shown in the deleted scenes, written in the blog and found in the tweeted messages of JP's family.

Great article and very true, about everything really. From Sean being perfectly tailor made for the role to Nikki, despite wanting to play the game the right way (can't wait to tell my mom I'm engaged!) showing that her loyalty is with JPG. I don't think JPG's choice changed anything, especially evident when Andi immediately came out and started reading the teleprompter on finding The One, plus he hurt Nikki in the process by making her look weak and stupid IMO, he did expose the show and how ridiculous it all is.

As for their picture, I agree it takes a certain sense of comfort and security in yourself and your relationship to look like a mess (said kindly, she's adorable!) with the guy so they definitely have that going for them.

I love the earrings and yet another testament that she's the real F1, he does feel deeply for her and all this resistance to commit, to say ily, to propose, to speak lovingly of her is just resistance to tptb. In an effort to oppose them, he went all the way the other direction because his actions with Nikki are no where near how he acted on atfr. Even Chris was like "you obviously love her sooo..."

I am not trying to fight, but people are assuming that Nikki was humiliated.  I don't think she was and honestly none of us can really know.  

Doc, correct me if I am wrong, but it seems in defining her as humiliated we are putting our perceptions on to her.  I don't know if she was humiliated.  To me she looked annoyed and possibly pissed of at TPTB and CH.  A few minutes are they left the studio and posted the selfie she looked pretty happy to me, even in her eyes which is where you can usually see pain in someone who is faking a smile.  I don't associate happiness a few minutes later with being humiliated right before.

Absolutely agree. If someone is red in the face, for example, one person may perceive that person to be humiliated, another might regard him/her as angry or flustered or just plain hot (as in overheated temperature wise). The sensory data is the red face; the rest is the perception of the viewer

This simply means that the edit is to showcase JP as a jerk since sentences were cut-off to make him appear bad as well as his family.

We saw him unedited and he wasn't nice and had a huge chip on his shoulder. Maybe Nikki and his family are okay and don't care and think it's fine, but it's not possible to claim it's ONLY the edit.

The mom was talking about what happen with her. The question was how does JuanPA react under stress and she said sometimes he can be rude. The edit made it look as thought out of the blue she said that her son is rude. She was offended by that.
