Maybe I should have added "IMO." I have liked Andi very much all season and hoped she'd be cast as next Bach'ette but I was a bit turned off by her performance on F3. I thought that Andi was back to her feisty self tonight and my guess is that TPTB encouraged other gals to bring out the b*tch on him while she kept her cool and was more succinct in her discussion (than going on and on and on like F3 discussion).

When it was her time in hot seat, Andi said that she had fun with him/great chemistry and she enjoyed his company for most of season. In her reel leading up to her time in hot seat, they included a clip of her saying in onscreen interview how "special" JP made her feel, which kind of cracked me up as they sorta threw JP a bone.

While on hot seat, she further explained the situation that turned her off as the night went on. In addition to her original rant, Andi said that he became too negative about parts of the production process and did not show enough appreciation for his opportunity of being Bachelor and that turned her off. She made a point of saying that he was not mean to her.

When he came out and some girls were complaining about him calling the two mothers his "special ones" and they thought that was not fair, Andi defended him and said to his face that there was a lot that she liked about him and a lot that she didn't. She and JP were also making nice by end of evening and teasing each other with "Eess okay" so you know darn well the two leads are already good old pals. Very well orchestrated!

She drank the kool-aid.  She's a assistant prosecuting attorney?!  The producers sure know how to stroke a person's ego.

Yup ... in great big Gulps.

But I like her as Bachelorette and think it will be fun season. She's got a lot of personality, she's an educated professional and she can poke fun of herself while still looking awesome in whatever she wears. She'll do a fine job in lead role as she's used to keeping a jury engaged and winning them over so she'll have to do the same with her men. Plus it will be fun to see how she responds when things don't go her way.

All of her pre-production talk is making me expect big things from her in terms of 1) picking smarter dudes for house and 2)making a huge effort to get to know ALL guys who make it into mansion and 3) getting into all kinds of deep riveting conversations about politics, religion and child rearing    etc.

I think that very thing likely registered with Andi as she listened to Sharleen based on some of her facial expressions. And I continue to think Andi was hurt when she realized during the FD that he really wasn't as into her as he was some of the other women and she reacted as someone might who feels invalidated. That being said, I think Andi handled herself well tonight (and probably received a lot of coaching beforehand to ensure that she would). It also seemed to me that JuanPa purposely did not make much eye contact with Sharleen (although I thought he looked at her with gratitude after she made the comment about his open-mindedness) which made me think he might have been trying to mitigate feelings of insecurity that his F1 might have surrounding his feelings for Sharleen.

To me the bolded part is what is making me dislike her. Why is it bad that he is telling her about the negative parts of production...the manipulation, etc? This is supposed to be their private time together and he is sharing what it is like to be the lead. Does she not think that this is what it will be like for her? If she doesn't, she has another thing coming. She is already showing her appreciation by kissing their a@@ like this. She may think that they are her friends now, but I bet anything she will be singing a different tune by the time they are done with her....just like JPab is now. I am getting more and more of a fake vibe from Ms. Andi and she is reminding me ever more of fake Emily, my least favourite Bette.

I will be curious to see just how much of an effort she puts in to get to know all her bachelors equally. It is clear that the ones he was interested in, JPab took the time to get to know and the rest of the bitter Betty's...not so much. She will be the same and when she has to keep the ones producers want her to keep, or the ones that she knows she has absolutely zilch interest in but needs the numbers, we'll see just how much she gets to know them or just goes in to make out so she doesn't have to talk to them...a la Ali.

While watching tonight, I had a thought regarding RS saying that they are trying to bribe JPab to propose at the AFTR. Seeing how they basically throw him under the pass tonight and most of the season and in the press, it go me to thinking. What if they are trying to set him up again? If he bites, they get his F1 to reject him? He gets his comeuppance and Nikki makes an appearance on her friend Andi's season to commiserate and boost her modelling profile? Just the sort of revenge they like to come up with for him not playing nice. I'd so wish Sharleen was the Bette...if I didn't like her so much.

I don't think for a moment that she slept with him. She was not into him. She was/is into being the next Bette. I also doubt that he went on and on about his date with Clare. Ms. Assistant DA better put her big girl panties on because he was dating 27 women from the beginning. Three were going on FDs. It's not exactly a secret. I think during the course of their talk, he probably casually confirmed that he had already had a FD with Clare. So what? Unless he went on and on about what they did...which I highly doubt...that was just something else she started to pick on when she:

1. Clued in that he was not that into her and she may not be all that for him.
2. Producers tempted her to put on a good, dramatic performance so she could score her own coveted show.

The whole thing about her barely making it to the FD seemed to only come up during the confrontation after. She seemed surprised when he confirmed what she had suspected or had been hinted at by producers. I don't get that stupid ostrich like mentality of ignoring the odds that you may indeed NOT the "one" or even worse, the pomposity of thinking that she was the "one" when there were other women still there...and she didn't want to be picked anyway!!! I have a feeling that she will get her own surprise of someone leaving and I suspect, she will be a royal b*tch when things don't go her way...which I guarantee producers will make sure occurs!!!

I don't think I was putting words in your mouth. You implied that she may have felt pressure to sleep with him and I said I don't think she did. Nor do I think she felt any pressure to sleep with him since to me at least, she wasn't all that into him. I really don't think it is that big a deal for him to casually mention that he already had had a date with someone else. It's not like she didn't know that others may have gone before or after her. It's just another silly argument she got into because she was already kissing up to production...just like tonight by saying that she was turned off that JPab wasn't appreciative enough of them. Seriously? I suspect she will learn a thing or two after she is done.

As for the hate fest...I don't have one, but I do dislike it when anyone tries to belittle others for their own gain...which is exactly what she is doing. She is going along and ripping on him...and please don't think that I am some big fan of his...so that she gets her own gig. She is totally ignoring the fact that he was once in her shoes and that soon she will be in his. And there are plenty of other former leads out there who have talked about what they went through and how they were manipulated. While I do think much of this is because so she can get her own gig, I also think there is a part of her that is just p*ssed at him because he wasn't all that into her. I read her as someone who is very used to getting her own way and while she wanted him to be honest, she didn't like it when he was. As for enjoying her season, I very much suspect I will "enjoy it" about as much as this one...unless there are some hot/funny/interesting bachelors that strike my fancy.

This is interesting to me- and can be interpreted whatever way you choose. At the very end, when audience members are giving opinions in PI shots, one of the last ones, maybe the last, I'd have to watch again says that it will end badly because the person he picks will expect a ring and she isn't going to get one. It reminds me of Sharleen and Nikki talking during the group date in NZ, Sharleen is shown wondering how it will end (the ogos) and Nikki responds, badly.
