Andi defending him is strange. I can see her doing it for the sake of Nikki, but also because she is trying to soften herself for the Bachlorette.

I am sorry, I just can't see how we can say that anyone is F1 till the season has finished airing. I see possibility of Nikki, but do see more with Clare.

That is why I'm calling her a hypocrite and an opportunist. She ripped him a new one on the show so she got the Bette gig. Now that she has it in the bag, I'm sure all is well.

As to not holding grudges...Why should she? She wasn't there to fall in love with JP. She was there to put on an act so SHE becomes the lead.
I understand why she didn't want JP. I wouldn't be attracted to him or his mind, because I prefer intellectual men, however, scolding him like a child over and over was not very attractive. She's pretty (after a nose job), and has a good career, but the other side of her personality is that she's whiney, petty, and blames others. I stick by that.

You cannot change the stripes on a Zebra. She can act and play coy all she wants, but women like she are NOT my cup of tea. First they sell themselves, then they EAT the man alive. Then men think that all women are bitches.
She could have handled herself better by being strong and to the point, and walking away instead of beating him over a stupid habit he has-saying EEZOK.

Another thing that caught my eye. Their (JP & Andi's) stories about the FS don't match. That leads me to believe that probably SHE was embellishing to totally destroy him, so she can win. Before the FS he told her that she can ask him ALL the questions she wants in the FS, so why didn't she? Did he tape her mouth shut?

I agree with you. I wonder if TPTB thought that the general public would totally be on Andi's side once she confronted Juan Pablo and left the show? Everyone would just embrace her as the bachelorette then. Like you have said, I have seen many negative comments regarding the way that Andi handled things and it has caused people to sympathize with Juan Pablo to a certain extent. The comments I have seen seem to run about 50 - 50 for and against Andi. I think TPTB have to do a little bit of damage control. That may be why we will see Andi defending Juan Pablo at the WTA. I do think Andi will make a good bachelorette and I am excited to watch her season, but she is going to have to distance herself from her final confrontation with Juan Pablo a little bit because the general public seems to be very split on who was right and who was wrong. I also think she has to be careful from this point forward what she posts on twitter. The other night she had a post that some perceived as her making fun of Juan Pablo's accent. I think she has to make the transition from being that scorned, angry bachelorette to being the strong, beautiful and looking for love bachelorette that her 25 bachelors will totally fall for. I think that now she is the bachelorette, and her season is going to start filming in a few weeks, she is probably going to be under their control of TPTB so won't make many more missteps from this point forward.

It will be interesting to see what tptb will actually choose to show us this next Monday night.  I can buy into Sharleen defending JP at the WTA, but it is interesting that Andi is also doing the same thing??  Sure, there has been about 3 months that have passed since the FS confrontation between her and JP, but I am not so sure how Andi can "convincingly" pull that off....defending JP now.

Are they planning to show a softer side of Andi when she takes the hot seat to explain what really went on in the FS?  Is she going to now say that she would do things differently, if she had it to do over?  I am curious to see what she now has to say.

And, I don't think that Andi is doing herself any favors by "mocking" JP on twitter right now.  Is it supposed to be taken as her just being snarky or what?  I must say, though, if Sharleen is taking part in mocking JP too, that does surprise me.  I would have thought that she would have taken the high road.

I also think she'll be a great Bette n many ways. Confident, in control, not putting up with any crap from them, and probably drawn to some great guys. I just wonder if she can "soften up" as someone said above. I mean her cute, fun HTD activity was a gun range. I think she could make for a great season, but will she be able to have silly fun moments and let go of her harder exterior to really fall in love? I hope so. Should be good, even though I have a hard time rooting for her right now. I'm sure I'll get obsessed some of the guys and be rooting for them. Always happens.

I thought the stories matched up just fine.  He said she could ask HIM all the questions she wanted, ie lots of time for him to talk about himself, and no indication of wanting to discover more about her as a person; the only times he mentioned getting to know "each other" better was with a wink and a grin clearly meaning physically.  He said they laughed and talk that night, and she never said he didn't seem to have a good time; she said everything she started to talk about, he turned into a story about himself.  Of course HE was having a good time, talking and sharing, because that is what happens when you get to talk about yourself (old trick, to get someone to think this has been a great conversation, make sure it is all about THEM).  The only thing that trips me up is that she seemed to think he should have known it wasn't going well, when if it went as I described above, I don't think that was realistic.  People in that space of mind never realize they are losing the person they are with.  Although, we do also have to remember that JPs lines about how the night went started in the ITMs then became kind of a mantra, so maybe they were influenced by producers.

I think we've all been with a JP, where he thinks things are fine and you think he's a buffoon. It seems that she went along laughing, talking etc. ( I don't like when people are fake, but whatever)...and then she realized that they don't have much in common, so instead of realizing that he's not the guy for her because he's not perfect and she shouldn't try to force it, she got angry at him. They didn't communicate well, and NOT that she's great and he's a jerk. EVERYBODY has pluses and minuses. The sooner she can accept that and not try to CONTROL everything, the better off she will be.
Oh, maybe he had a more superficial relationship with her, and didn't talk about important things because she was NOT the one for him.
I think that if it's there, the conversation comes naturally. You don't have to try hard. He talked with Nikki just fine. They were able to communicate. I think Andi should have just accepted the fact that it just wasn't there, instead of finding fault with JP.

Evidently she thinks that she's perfect. I'm sure that not everyone see's her that way, including JP.
For her to say there are things she liked about him and things she still doesn't sounds SO NAIVE. Maybe she was too busy studying because it sounds as though she knows NOTHING about LIFE and RELATIONSHIPS.

There are no perfect people in the world, and what one person will admire about you, another may hate it. That's the reality. Gosh, who died and left her boss, or in charge of human qualities and behavior? I don't think that she is as easy to get along with as she portrayed herself. IT's all about CONTROL. She wants to "fix" everyone and everything....and she's RIGHT. Whoa!

I'm sure Fleiss will go right to the root of her issues. I can't wait.

Well Andi, def doesn't hold back with what she says. I'm all for tough and confident but there's also being harsh and a constant ball buster. Can't tell which side of that line she walks right now. Whether I end up rooting for her or not I guess will depend on how she is with the right type of guy. She should make for an interesting season though, no doubt. I expect different than many Bettes. Will there be romance or a lot of interrogation? Looking forward to it, just don't know yet if I'll want my fav guys to win or run.
