That COULD be too. I figured... and was hoping... others here would have a different take.

What gets me is that he turns his head so abruptly. In many old movies, we see the "lovers" trying to avoid all of the noise around them. CASABLANCA gives you that airplane engine going and Ingrid Bergman is still slow to leave. Of course, that is fiction... BUT based on many real situations. If he was THAT immersed in Nikki during that moment, would he be that quick to look? I don't know. It just seemed awkward to me.

Yup - he would be a great resource right about now.

Also, not sure if this is a spoiler but the posters on here who were sleuthing during the season filming would have seen tweets etc. and know approximately when the FRC was to be filmed.

As I said IMO if it is a sundown FRC then it is more likely that Clare came second but if it is a morning one, then IMO Clare came first.

i must say Clare did mention (again!) fairy tale in this promo.

JBF, i cant remember seeing your analysis on this promo ...did i miss it?

i also must say, storyline-wise, edit-wise, all in favor of Clare as the F1 to me. BUT socmed and media (blog) suggesting otherwise, Nikki is the F1. Its downward weird..  . I blame TPTB for this..LOL...(knowing they are throwing him under the bus and put the rebel label on him, i give a benefit of the doubt that they intentionally feed us with the wonky editing...LOL)

i also agree that on FD his BL toward Clare is different than on HTD. BL-wise, Nikki get the most intimate gestures from him. JMO

The "dramatic" finale that everyone will be talking about is Juan holding a rose, followed by shots of Nikki with him.

Like I said before, AfterBuzz and "average" viewers probably assume, thanks to this promo, that Juan either leaves solo... or he chooses Nikki. Most of the "concern" involves Clare.

Nikki... I think... is the one giving us that touching every-little-girl's dream, merging youth with future wedding. After all, Nikki was the one who met Camilla. Not Clare. We are reminded of that OVER and OVER again on AfterBuzz.
Nikki asks if Juan is "ready for this"... answer: "I'm pretty sure". Clare gets all of the "red flags" concerning Juan.
Nikki always says she is guarded and says here that HE may be too... all the more reason viewers feel they are a match.
"Will Juan Pablo propose?" is asked over Nikki, NOT Clare.
Clare, not Nikki, asks if he knows her well enough. This is NOT a concern with Nikki.
Nikki isn't "shocked". Clare is "shocked" by what Juan chose to tell her.
Nikki is not dwelling on the "negative things". She is after his ring... and, yes, he is sporting one.

One peekaboo curve-ball that can be interpreted any number of ways: Nikki is shown arriving at FRC first as Chris Harrison starts to speak. Then Clare gets "a Bachelor finale", while Juan looking stern "that no one sees coming"... followed by Nikki (maybe) crying... and Clare just laying on the bed "concerned" or crying. Not sure.

Another curio: Juan's "you've barely made it" (paraphrasing) that Andi received was edited over Nikki in another promo.

According to the filming schedule we developed when some girl tweeted that the F4 RC was taking place at Loews Hotel, we concluded that the FRC would have been either on the 12th or 13th of November. This is a "weird" tweet JP made on the 13th which someone later found out was a line from a song.

hmm..im leaning more toward to early afternoon FRC---leading to logic that Clare is coming later. (cue the sun) ...thus she is the F1   

Litta, could you give me heads up whether those 2 women were taking the same route to get to FRC? are the individual SCs captured  and compared suggesting the exact same backrops of their shots?

Here's my take -- early alone shots of Juan Pablo indicate the sun was bright and filled the podium area. There is a pathway to get to the FRC location that each girl must walk, much of it heavily shaded by trees.

We can see sun on Nikki's arms and shoulders during some of her caps, but mostly on just the her right side (our left), indicating the sun was at an angle...not directly overhead...unless it was just a weird canopy that she was under at that point on the path.

Clare's shots are not taken at the same point on the path so the sunlight to Nikki is not a fair comparison. It could be that the sun was under a cloud at that precise moment...or that there were no holes in that part of the canopy to let any light pass through in any part of that shot...or Clare arrived after the sun angle would not have hit that part of the forest, meaning later than Nikki.

In "fairness," there is no way that I can make a judgement on this. I don't have the expertise. mura, how's that for a non-answer to your question.   

nd, IMO, the staged shot of Juan at the podium indicates a very bright sun. It's doubtful to me that it would have been a morning FRC with sunlight that bright on the West side of the island...but what do I know?

There are plantation ruins called "Anse Mamin Plantation" just adjacent to Anse Chastenet and Jade Mountain resorts. In fact, they are part of the grounds of Anse Chastenet. Bike St lucia operates a set of trails there. That might be worth a look see to see if it might fit. Sure would be handy for filming, since they are already using those resorts for FD filming and when they filmed the FRC last time in St Lucia they used Jade Mountain's terrace.
