People at viewing party chose Nikki because her intro was warm ( nurse , works with kids who is also stunning to look at. I chose her just from the picture. I guess the editing has to make others look big in order to hide Nikki. He was carrying her and touching her face by episode 2! How did they get to that point when we hardly saw them together. There is a lot they are keeping from us and also with Nikki it has been a steady progress, no breaks or steps backwards. Just a natural progression. I see all the Clare in our faces physical attraction, i reckon MF and crew told him he has to over play it to convince us there is even a competition and make it look like it is tight.

Going back to oceangate, just before he met Nikki he didnt seem to have a problem with the ocean swim, but then he is full of regrets after nikki's date. It wasnt enough he said it was a mistake on tv, he said it in his blog and again on twitter! Why 3times if you ended up with said girl?

I wasn't going to post at all this season.  I didn't post Des' season because I just didn't really care.  But since RS was wrong last season, I was so happy.  Not because my favorite was F1 or my favorites was F2 etc.  It was just plain and simple I didn't want RS to be right.  I went back and tried to read this forum and what was being said during Des' which I missed.   I was the same way with Sean season, didn't care.  I started out that way this season but found myself trying to figure out JP and his type because the obvious favorites are being edited to be so different.  All I want to do is see both sides and see which side I agree with.  I have an idea who RS spoiled was the F1 is because of things I happen to have seen and I am trying to see if he is right or wrong again this season.  Plain and Simple I want him wrong.  I don't have a cat in this fight….if JP is happy with his choice or no choice then great.  I will go back and watch what I missed if he F1 isn't my choice during the during is wrong.

So, if you don't think these caps were made post filming, when do you think they happened? Did they do these PIs in Miami while HTDs were taking place? Clare's would have needed to be made post-HTD, but pre-RC since she wore her bracelet. I doubt they would have been made in St. Lucia because that would mean they would have needed to fly Renee there...and I would expect that she would have been emotionally raw...too soon to give her upbeat PIs, IMO.

The similarity of the background in all these caps tells me they would have been using the same room...or they would have to get the layout of the furniture, pillows, flower arrangement and screen perfect every time. Do they ever let the girls touch up their roots during "The Journey?" Nikki's roots in Miami seem to be different than her roots in the PIs.

Anyway, I still think it's possible that the PIs were made post season. For you spoiled folks, were there any indications that Juan's season wasn't going well while filming was taking place? Any hint that maybe TPTB had to bring girls back to help them create a storyline post production? Throwing out some possibilities to justify bringing the girls to LA post filming.

There are sooo many PIs involving these backgrounds -- especially ones that cast doubt on Clare's stability. Many of the Andi/Nikki PIs with this background throw Clare under the bus. Awhile ago I remember posting that many of the viewers' impressions of Clare seem like they were being shaped by those girls' statements vs Clare's actual actions. (Now, before you jump to comment, Clare has since provided us with some disturbing scenes of her own.)

Anyway, I'm still struggling with the timing of these caps. When and where were they made?

In the "behind the scenes" episode there is another PI of Renee in a tank top with the same screen, flowers etc. Where she makes a statement about Lucy and no swimsuit top. The picture framing doesn't include the couch pillow but the same. FYI to add to the list

Adding two screen caps.  I can see a real physical chemistry with Clare, but they are really not showing a whole lot with Nikki. Eg.,

He does whisper a lot to her and gives her the double kisses after on her ear.

They did not show how they were sitting in the flower shop but when they got it was obvious that their legs were entangled.

Nikki is basically having a proper relationship from week to week and the others are talking about how it would be having him as their boyfirends. I still maintain he gave Nikki his favourite flower on that date as a sub for the rose he couldnt give her yet. The little moment they had when she said she was hopeful he would go to her home town was cute. It was a given she was going to take him home. Nikki has been confident almost through out the show and i think she is because JP made it possible. The subtle almost seamless way they interact, joke and talk is different that the tv version he does with the others. I have a pretty good record with choosing the F1. I havent liked them all...courtney, Ed but i alway called it right because i watch the for the little things and not the obvious.

I am with you here! It is the conversation and the little things with Chris that showed me that he was the best fit. Now, even though she is a little negative, I still thing JP and Nikki have the best conversations and the little things. I am not sure about Claire being F1.

This is the point, its the little things; not the elaborate deconstruction and minute examination of the edit, because at the end of the day you will be deceived, that is the whole point of the edit to fool you.

So okay….I hear ya…..but Nikki is obvious to a lot of people.  If you watch the "behind the scenes" at the bachelor viewing parties there were women making their list Nikki was number one and you even see a PI of a fan that says Nikki will go to the finale.  So she is obvious and Jimmy Kimmel etc.  The edit is either working to hide the F1 or show the best connection Which one do you think it is?

I know this might not mean much, but this is what Des said on blog about NIkki "I couldn’t stop smiling during Juan’s date with Nikki. I loved the idea of this date because it is what a normal day would be like in a relationship with Juan. His daughter Camila is so ADORABLE and although it may not be fair to the other girls that Nikki got to meet his family, he must have chose her for a reason and there’s no hate for that. Strong chemistry and passion does not mean strong and lasting relationship, that's what he has with Claire. And, I thing JP understand that what he has with Nikki is much stronger than the sexual attraction which tend to wear out when trouble comes, JMO.

Just a random thought- PI caps with similar background, ladies are sleeveless but not Nikki, both of her outfits appear long sleeved. Just a "fashion" preference or climate related?

I'm not sure if you are have been able to prove that the pictures with more roots are in fact time travel but others can weigh in.

And to your point - if those SCs of Nikki with roots are in fact time travel ones then perhaps she is F2. Because if she had a guy in her life she would not allow the roots to show.
