Totally agree soccermom. I'm SO happy for them, and I'm really glad they had a small and intimate party, with just close friends and family, because this is something Des was looking forward to about her wedding. And we all know how 'intimate' an ABC production is, so if she can't have that for her wedding, I'm glad they went all out for the engagement party.   

I hope they get some great publicity for the party planner, photographer, and the venue. They did a fab job and deserve the media attention!

Did I miss something???? Have they announced the next Bachelorette is Andi?

Jodi, Did you watch the show last? If you did, what is your perspective on Andi' and/or JP's performance? Thanks!

Also, Des may be in California to work on her line of bridal gowns with Maggie Sottero. A quick google search shows that they will be modelled on the runway at the LA Couture Show On August 24-25.

And then I randomly checked Maggie's blog and there's a post from Des today!

Yes, I did watch last night.  My perspective...... um, how can I put this without getting in trouble?  
1. Any guy that talks about girl when he's with another deserves exactly what he got and probably more.  
2. I agree with her statement of "there is a difference between honesty and being an a**".  I don't believe he was being so much as honest but more of just being Juan Pablo.
3. His constant use of "it's okay" is really getting old and I've only watched a few episodes.  I can see why she felt the way she did and how it came across as "I really wasn't that into you anyway" (my words not his).  
4.  I have an issue with anyone that uses the "um hum" (I'm not real sure how to even type it) while I'm talking, it makes me feel like they aren't listening.  I figure it's just another one of those Juan Pablo habits but it drives me crazy.
5. TPTB drug it out a bit too long for my taste but that's what they do.  It actually kind of reminded me of another break up we all know about..... they were using it as filler.

Now to find some positives with last night:
1.  In my opinion Andi is a very smart girl.  
2.  Love, love, love St. Lucia and a visit there is now on my bucket list.
3.  Hubby and I have really nice conversations during the commercials.
4.  I really like the picture of Chris and his key.

Honestly, I have only watched the last few show but for what I've seen, which of course we all know is what we've been shown.... I'm not impressed.  I have an opinion of Juan Pablo but I will refrain for now. :Smiley:

Okay, thank you bleuberry.  I did tell hubby last night that I'd bet the next Bachelorette is Andi.  If it is her I believe they made a good choice.

Gorgeous pictures!  This melts my heart!   I know we don't have a date yet but I am already getting so excited.  Thanks for posting these.   I have a feeling des is going to California to talk to Andi.   I thought tey would have waited but maybe this time worked out best for des.  We just need to keep looking for clues.

Well last night I looked around a little more, and I was going to post that her trip could be to the FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise) which is where Des studied, because they were having some event.

And today I find this:
