Sean & Catherine Lowe - Their Fairy Tale Wedding - Live Chat

The wedding ceremony has ended and now here's my rant on the way ABC handled the whole filming...live and whatnot. We all know Sean is a Godly man and a born again virgin and yes, until tonight tonight the newlyweds are gonna have to wait it out. We also all know that ABC Bachelor production prides themselves on all the sexy, romantic sometimes even horny jizzazz and whatnot. So while the wedding ceremony was what Sean and Cat got out of the deal, ABC got to play with the factor of "Consummation" Night for the "Almost" Virgins. Gotta say ABC plays dirty pretty well.  

I've enjoyed all of the four weddings but I think this was an exceptionally pretty setting. Major kudos to Mindy Weiss, Catherine's ideas, and to ABC for footing the bill. Being at night with that lighting helped.

Y'all have beaten the bridal sweet within an inch of it's live- and I've got to agree.  I was glad that Sean was able to say that what he regrets about that is that it's such a small part of his faith.

I'll be watching for his "I Am Second" to be posted- I should get an email- and I'll put it in the General thread (If someone doesn't beat me to it).

I had misread the tweet- Sean's "I Am Second" will come out in Feb (which won't be long!)

I loved this wedding. Probably in combination of fewer guests than the previous three Bachelor weddings and being broadcast live, the wedding came off much more intimate and real.

I'd agree, except Sean and Cat played that card well. They had fun with it, had their perfect wedding and are probably not at all upset about the edit. I do agree they focused too much on it, but Cat was more than game for it. All in all, I think the wedding special represented who they are quite well, was so genuine and TBTB (-minus the bed cam) didn't do too badly by them.

Thing is, even when the couple hasn't refrained, who doesn't joke about consummating the marriage on the wedding night? Although the honeymoon suite cam is so obviously Bachelor show cornball, I can't think of a wedding I've attended that hasn't involve wedding party members sneaking into the honeymoon suite to "decorate".

It's all good fun to me ...

 :Nod: IMHO Sean and Cat have been very realistic regarding everything from the moment they met to how the wedding special would be handled. They realised from all the press they have done since the engagement that sex...or lack of...was going to be the big topic of discussion so they kind of pre-empted everyone through humour and made fun of themselves. Kind of hard for others to do it, when you are already doing it yourself.

All in all, I think they handled themselves well and the wedding truly represented who they are as a couple. I think even a blind man could see the love that they have for each other...as per Cat...they blinded us and after all, that is the important part!        

What a beautiful wedding. Catherine was stunning. Love her dress, veil, earrings and her hair is that of old hollywood glamour--classic. I love her veil when it covers her shoulder. My friend and I kept saying she's so beautiful. I agree with Sean, she has the most beautiful face. Perfect.  When I saw Sean with his parents, I kept saying he's so handsome. They are so blessed to have each other. What a stunning and genuine couple. The vows are so them.  So happy for both famiies.

just finished on the west coast. Those vows were beautiful and Cat was beaming, what a gorgeous bride! Her dress was sexy and classy, perfect on her. :) Jay is such a great dad and father-in-law, he made the ceremony even more special. What a beautiful wedding!!!

Sherry's reaction during Cat's vows got me most. Clearly his parents feel that Cat loves their son.

Finally got to see it in full here in the West Coast & I'm still in tears. So much little details I missed on the live feed! When Clay joked around with the rings, & Cat saying she wanted the ring pop, "Here give me that I'm hungry!" LOL Everything was just breath taking and super romantic. The vows love love love! Their reactions were totally what I imagined, just no words. So emotionally perfect!
