I would have liked to see more of the guests without taking anything away from the ceremony. There was way too much of the wedding night stuff and they could have cut a little of it. Hopefully we'll get a little more from the reception later.

I don't really get the whole live thing, they could've just pre recorded and fit in so much cute footage of the reception, and the hubby/wifey gifts, and other creative segments. Oh well! Loved it!   

I wish we had gotten more both before (of real prep stuff not all the wedding night stuff) and after (reception, more of the family, etc.)

But I actually wonder if the live thing may have been Sean and Catherine's idea/deal than ABC's.

There's no denying the role faith plays for them - Sean's last tweet just before the wedding started was about Jesus being seen.

By it being live, ABC was basically unable to cut out the faith side of things that were included. Had it been pre-taped, that could have been edited out.

I don't know that is the case for a fact, but I suspect that may be the real origins of the "live" thing - regardless of how it was presented once it was made public that that was how the wedding was going to be done...especially since time wise and realizing there'd be all the "pre" stuff it was obvious that there was no way they were going to try to have sunset or something factor in and get that live, too...

Like I said in a thread last week I think (after their little piece in last Sunday's show) I wouldn't be shocked to see ABC now add another special on - especially after all the twitter love for it tonight (minus the overkill on the wedding night stuff) and include more of what we didn't see, especially the reception, but maybe even more of the prep and family time, etc.

Is there a west coast stream?

A beautiful ceremony with light-hearted moments! I feel privileged that they shared it with all of us. God truly brought them together!

Beautiful wedding and very Seancat! Love their vows and felt how deep their love for each other. I wish I could watch it again by my dvr didn't work. I hope someone will share it here. Cheers to the new couple and to us Seancat fans.

Loved it, and even got my husband to watch the ceremony (well, most of the ceremony). The kids did great. Sean was even more emotional than I expected, but he did well with his vows. I agree that Catherine is so poetic and creative! She was stunning- mission accomplished.

Y'all have beaten the bridal sweet within an inch of it's live- and I've got to agree. I was glad that Sean was able to say that what he regrets about that is that it's such a small part of his faith.

I'll be watching for his "I Am Second" to be posted- I should get an email- and I'll put it in the General thread (If someone doesn't beat me to it).

I watched the wedding and it was so beautiful! Catherine was truly stunning and Sean is such a baby crying like that, but that makes him all the much more adorable and sincere! I'm sure the pictures from the wedding will be beautiful!
