I thought JPab came across very sincere and genuine tonight. I do think he has a good heart and doesn't want to hurt the girls. I love that he told Sharleen he doesn't want her to sit and worry like he did, because he never got a rose ahead of time. Very sweet.

I like JP's honesty. My favorite line was at the Rose Ceremony when he said "this is my favorite part" May be an interesting season.

Bee, nice to see you here. I was just thinking about you the other night. Hope all is well with you. I agree with you that JPab seems to be very sweet-hearted and sincere. I think it's easy to mistake what I see as his ability to embrace and enjoy life as he's not there "for the right reasons." And if he ends up not being with Nikki, if that is in fact whom he chose, I don't think that necessarily means that he didn't hope to find love. There's simply no guarantee that someone is going to fall in love even if there are 27 women - just ask Brad the first go-around. Speaking of him, I just read somewhere that he and Bettina dated after that show. Is that true? I always believed that she was the one in whom he was most interested but that her HTD was the deal-breaker and so after that he lost interest in the outcome.

High fives to Lauren's ex for dodging the neediest bullet of all time! And way to go Juan Pabs for having the desperation detector set to "elicit tears and don't let them unpack their bags."  Now just dump hippie chick, have lots of hot make out sessions in steamy hot tubs, and pick someone to twirl and have a fake relationship with for a few months and you'll win me over completely.

Hey, doc! Nice to see you here too. I liked what I saw of JP tonight, but I didn't like the ocean scene in the preview. I'm trying to keep an open mind, but if it looks like a repeat of Jake and Ben's seasons, I won't be able to. Having said that, I am happy if the spoilers are true and he didn't propose at the end. I have to wonder if Andi wasn't headed for the F1 and things changed when she eliminated herself. Or maybe like you said, he just didn't fall in love with any of them.

One thing that surprised me in his phone interview, was that he did not listen to or pay attention to what the girls were saying was going on in the house. So if Nikki was the house "b" like is being reported, he didn't care what they had to say. It seems if he were really serious about finding a wife and mother for his daughter, he would at least consider it as a possible red flag.

I also heard from a pretty credible source that Brad and Bettina had seen each other a few times post filming. But I've heard that of the F4, it was always Deanna, if anyone.

They dated for YEARS on and off.... When Brad was approached to do the show a 2nd time he was dating her. He apparently dumped her for the show.

I doubt many "bro's" are on this site, but I'm one of 'em!   

I tuned into the bachelorette, and surprisingly, got hooked. Don't know why. I had never watched the show before, but desiree seemed like such a sweet and genuine girl, the show was fun watch. Her episode long crying jag in the penultimate episode was totally heartbreaking, but also struck me as completely genuine.

I then swore I was never shallow enough to watch the bachelor. But darnit, I tuned in for a second, and the prospect of seeing 2 dozen hot chicks lusting after one man is a fantasy scenario that I simply can't turn down!

Now, as far as this first episode (I watched tonight, but I also heard there was an episode sunday?), I was fantasizing about being in JP's shoes, .

I really didn't sense a great chemistry between JP and any of the girls, but he seemed to fancy Charleen obviously, and Andi.

The only other thing I noticed is that JP seems to favor brunettes, a nice surprise.

Also, after reading some of the spoilers (couldn't resist the temptation), it sucks the show has so many plants.

I noticed JP favored brunettes too. I was surprised he let Valerie go, considering she was a very good looking brunette. You will notice that after she was eliminated you didn't see her say/hug JP goodbye or anything. I wonder what happened there.

I haven't read any of the spoilers, what's a plant? I am assuming a person place in the show by the producers to spice up the show one way or another. How many plants are there? Can they be confirmed?

I found it amusing how JP was checking out the women's asses after he hugged them and they were heading in the mansion. It was so obvious with a few of them.

Yes, me too Revo! I don't blame him! He is Hispanic, they like their women with a little "junk in the trunk".

They need a mix of crazies, level headed and other sorts to be on these shows.
