Excuse me but since when does "Christian" automatically translate to "homophobic"? You are missing the point, what I was saying is most people think that Christian are homophobic and therefore someone will ask that question just trying to get an answer from them.  The reason I am not worried with Sean and Catherine answering that question is because I know for sure that they will not call anyone perverts.  You should try to understand what someone is saying before jumping to conclusions.  I am a Christian and I do not judge or call anyone perverted.

FWIW, the network and producers have released a statement about the issue so they're trying to get rid of the situation, or at the very least distance themselves from JuanPa's comments. So Sean and Catherine just may escape the questions. Or they may not.

I believe if the question comes up with them (and all those ABC shows will probably NOT bring it up because they'd rather it go away), I would guess that Sean would defer to the producers- it's their show to produce, cast, etc.... a business decision for them. And he would probably make no other statement. After all, he's the guy that goes with the company line that the faith discussions on his season weren't aired because they're not good TV. So TPTB will do what they believe will make good TV.

JP is not the brightest bulb...which is not exactly news, however, like some others I do hope this negative publicity does not overshadow the wedding. Sean and Cat are in full promo mode for their nuptials and people should be talking about that ... happy and light ... not about the negativity he has just brought the franchise. I wonder if he would now be uninvited from the wedding or at least not shown so as not to taint their day?

Respectfully, asking that we take the JPab conversation to his threads. When/if Sean and Catherine are asked about his comments then we can discuss what THEY said here.

I'm looking forward to the couples special tonight. Anybody else? Hope some of you will report on it for us west coasters. It should be fun, especially with the Mesnicks, Trista and Ashley on mute. Lol

I'll be reporting her for sure. Obviously I'm most interested in the SeanCat portion, but I'll be glad to see Ryan again and JP/Ashley.

Here, here! Staying up late to watch the SeanCat portion. I've not watched the other couples on the show, so I am not invested. Luckily I'll be finishing up some work as I wait. I am so excited
