Catherine & Sean Tweets/Facebook Updates - Discussion

It's only important that Catherine see's Sean's passion, not us! And especially not in a tweet. IMO And believe me, while she is both the love of his life and his one and only, being his best friend will be the glue that holds their marriage together for a lifetime.

.. he does that all the time, actually. But "best friend" seems to be kinda his "thing" from even before his season started filming.... and we know that Sean is not exactly all about variety(*cough* "I am crazy about you"..

I agree with you lipsis, it is very important to marry your best friend because that relationship will be very special. Best Friend is very special people in your life. The first people you think about when you make plans. The shoulder to cry on, because you know that they truly care about you. In most cases they would take a bullet for you, coz it would be too painful to watch you get hurt. With all things said, I would rather hear Sean calling Catherine his best friend.

They have been together for more than a year now, and with Sean's love , Cat's been able to express her love for him in public.  At the ATFR or many interviews after the show, only Sean talked about how much he loved her..., and some people would say that he was more into her than she into him. If both of them do that at the same time, then it'd be " they're trying too hard or too cheesy..". They can't win either way.

And I agree with you guys. Just to add to a Truly Best Friend's list (speaking from a 30 years best friend's list/experience)..someone who supports you through Good and Bad times, someone who makes you laugh til it hurts, someone who takes care of you when you are not feeling your best, someone you can have a nice/meaningful conversation with (just to name a few). In my mind..Sean and Catherine have the IT-FACTOR, let's give credit where credit is due. Just Sayin........

Coming from the experience of having a best friend for life in my own life, I truly cherish that thought. What ever else happens in a marriage, love and passion and romance are extremely important but believe me best friend beats them all. Catherine told her soon to be FIL when she met the family that she wanted a best friend for life and Sean has been saying that all along as his mantra. IMO it says everything and holds up through the years. ( no one upmanship intended but 55 years here  )

To add to what everyone else has said, I think to say she is his best friend is the ultimate complement coming from Sean and for him naturally incorporates all of those other things, love of his life, soul mate etc. It is inclusive of everything passionate not exclusive.

Agreed everyone of you here ladies. And to add all of this discussion . I would say that these two are the real deal! They are showing how they love, care and support each other. They are not afraid to express their feelings to each other . They show it and I think they are passionate to each other .You can see how real these two are. They are who they are. You know what I am saying. Finding someone that you are going to spend the rest of  your life and someone you can call bestfriend for life at the same time too is amazing. They found their bestfriend and love of their life at the same time too is a great relationship .

What difference would that make?  Just asking.

None....it is just personal preference.

I have been married for over 35 years and truly know what it means to have a best friend and marry that person. I do not mean to demean that at all. And I like vivi2's observation that in the protection of Sean's love, Cat has come to be able to express her love openly...that is something of great value.

But, while I wipe away the tomato juice, I stand by my wish. I'd like to see Sean a little less measured with his words, just once. He's young and full of energy....it wouldn't hurt to hear pure pleasure and joy bubble up from him with a little abandon. That isn't meant to put a damper on anyone else's vision of "our" couple. We all accept that this is a good solid couple who are in love and heading for a great life together. They are beautiful to look at and have excellent personal values and we all enjoy speeding them on their way. But I can admire them and still have opinions about them that are not exclusively starry-eyed. I enjoy seeing them as real people through my own personal lens as each of us does.

Please don't take this as argumentative....it is reflective, more than anything. I welcome everyone's opinions and hope that mine are received with good will as well.

I don't have a problem who is more passionate etc ect between them. I have to think back then everytime sean is posting tons and tons of his fiancée's pics and labelled her some cheesy and loving captions some people would go over him on his IG and accusing how he is into her so much    while cat is more reserved and accusing how catherine is not the lovey dovey one and I am cracking myself that time. I think to me these two have come a long way with their relationship keeps growing and even much stronger. I think what you are saying is how catherine is so gushy gushy right now based on what you see to her tweets and IG captions . I think you have to think that showing your love and sweetness is not only based on writing or posting pic . It is how you show your love each other everyday. I don't see any difference between saying marrying a bestfriend / to the love of my life. I mean marrying a bestfriend , it includes everything to me in general. At the beginning sean and catherine are looking for someone they will be bestfriend with and spend the rest of their life and they found each other .
