This has me interested in what they are getting each other this year. Although, it's no guarantee they'll share that info with us.

Oh you've so opened up a can lipsis ... now I can't stop imagining the kiddos bursting into mommy and daddy's bedroom at the crack of dawn on Christmas morning and eagerly waking them up so they can start opening their presents, and that's just the first of many such "imaginings" I'm sure will swirl around my noggin for awhile

That's a lovely thought but why do I think Sean and Cat will be up first and making a lot of noise outside the kids bedrooms to wake them up? Either way, it's heartwarming.

I'll go with when the kids are younger they'll wake up mom and dad, but as the kids get older it will transition to what you said. That's how it was in my house. My parents were fond of air horns and drumming on pots.

Okay that works.

Once we knew (spoiler alert) there was no Santa, we've done Christmas Eve in my house. Still do to this day.
