Oh well, what can we do? I guess what I'm going to do is be grateful that they've decided to allow us to share their wedding live with them, as it actually happens. Agreed, will have to take what we are being given and love it so much. Maybe just get a small glimpse of what we were all hoping for after the ceremony. But nothing compared to the vows and Papa Jay and becoming Mr and Mrs Lowe

Correct, there was some footage of their first dance with Matt White on piano, with VO's of Bach nation talking about the wedding. It was adorbs.

I guess that's the price of a 'live' wedding special, they can't exactly cut from the ceremony to the first dance within minutes. I was looking forward to it! :(

Yes it would have been sweet to have first dance footage but maybe someone can take videos or pictures. Overall we are getting to witness our favorite couple get married, vows, first glances when Catherine walks down the isle, mainly everything else on our wish lists so it all works out! :)

The more I think about it, the better I feel about the no access reception. This will be their one chance at privacy without the production hassles. They can relax and let loose. And I bet if we asked Wolfie or Charlie or one of their IG loving friends, and if they are allowed to, we might get a clip of the first dance or cake cutting.

I am very disappointed that we will not see when they introduce them as Mr. and Mrs. Sean Lowe. I really wanted to see the first dance. ABC has disappointed me again.

We won't hear CH announce them at the reception, perhaps, but I'm sure Papa Jay will announce them as soon as they've had that first kiss as husband and wife- it's not the first wedding he's done (when Sean returned from Emily's season, Papa Jay was officiating Sean's cousin's wedding- and I'm confident he's done others as well).

Jay will introduce them as Mr and Mrs Sean Lowe before the recessional.

I'm very grateful for an unedited wedding ceremony. It may not be perfect but its more and better than what we've gotten before.

I was initially upset about not seeing their first dance, but now I'm totally good with it. We get to see their ceremony unedited and that is the best thing we could get. Truth be told, we've been so spoiled with them, that I'm just happy we get to see it in general to care about missing the reception. I'd rather they get to truly let loose there along with their guests without having to deal with camera crews and all the television business.
