He's getting a lot of practice with the "yes dear" when it comes to registering. Of all the things they are getting, he probably only cares about things like towels or bedding since he'll use it daily. Every other gadget is just another gadget to him.

Then he'll be happy if he gets his pizza.

He's probably trying to think of ways to sneak a few "guy" things on the registry, like a grill or maybe a bigger t.v.
