Re: Sean & Catherine Lowe - Wedding - Discussion Thread #2
And as far as problems, I think it has a lot to do with the continues mean spirited backlash etc.... I am sure it was extremely difficult to deal with(and TBH they still have to deal with it all the time)

My opinion, I don't think they postponed the wedding. It's possible there was a tentative or a hopefully date for summer that got changed, probably by ABC. I also don't think that had any real problems but more kinks that needed ironing out. I do think though that the adjustment to coming out in public with the DWTS gig was more than they thought it would be. I don't believe the relationship was ever in jeopardy. In the long run, in terms of their relationship, I think the timing of this wedding is just about right.
Purely my opinion.

I really don't believe they postponed the wedding, the magazine could have drawn that conclusion because everyone assumed it would be a summer wedding. I always thought early to mid-fall would have been the soonest. I also don't think it would have been any huge or major problems they've had, probably just getting used to being together all the time and learning about each others quirks and tendencies, just like any normal couple would, and would have broken up more superficial relationships but because they're committed and willing to work through issues, they became stronger for it.

They hid the problems really. well and it makes me sad reading about it. But since they are getting married in a few days, I' m not going to let it bother me.
NO. That was just something the magazine added. It was THIS very magazine that blasted the whole.. "Wedding postponed" "It's OVER" etc. headlines.... They are covering their own tales. Simply as that.
So true! Keep in mind even they are kissing seancat asses sometimes this is still one of those trash mags out there blasted them before in every article they wrote about them to get hits.

I agree. ABC posponed the wedding, not them. Their "problems" mostly came from the paps, media and "loving" fans! Cat in her own words to the paps " you guys put us through a lot"

I agree with everything you said. We also need to keep in mind that when you move from your place of comfort and to a new place they is always adjustments period that needs to take place. DWTS was not what they both expected and they really needed to spend some quality time together and get used to each other. I am happy their all agree that they have gone through difficult times and come out strong. I honestly believe that after this nothing will come between them.

WORD.
That is all there is to say.
And the real indication their "problems" weren't the cause of "postponing" the wedding- that part wasn't a quote, just an add on to the sentence to go along with the rag's previous articles.

That line threw me off, but I agree. It didn't come.from them.
They've obviously have had issues like any other couple but they know they have real love, and that made them willing to work through anything and everything.
