I actually can imagine Sean, as he crosses the threshold into the suite while on that tour cracking, "Ahhhh.... the fantasy suite".... because that really is his sense of humor. And if he said it, it will be aired.

Exactly. It may be just like that. Just like on the show when they do a quick zoom in on the bed and then move on.

Still rather have an extra minute or so segment with the girls though.

I know many of you think tptb are making them do this but if they didnt want to, they couldve said no, which they didnt.sean and catherine agreed to do it so they are ok with it and i think we should just enjoy it for whats its worth and not spend time complaining and anticipating the worst imo

I'm not sure if it's suppose to be on this thread. I just want to know if there will be promos for the next two weeks through the wedding day. How did Ashley JP promoted the airing of their wedding? I thought ABC will at least promote it for people who are not obsessed like us to know and watch the wedding especially it's on the same time as the Grammy's. I've seen promo for the Grammy's. I asked this because my friend who enjoys watching The Bachelor/Bachelorette every season (but never gets invested). She's the one who informed my friends and I about Catherine, a Filipina is on the Bachelor (she thought she was Asian but confirmed she's Filipino when they served "lumpia" and taught Sean how to do the "mano" for Catherine's Lola during their HTD). I only saw the episodes from the FD through the ATFR and now has FLOD. To make long story short, I told her that Sean and Catherine's wedding is on Jan. 26th and it's live, she asked me how come she doesn't see any promo and there was no mention of it during the 2-day airing of The Bachelor last weekend. Now, she and I are going to watch it together.

I think there will be promotion, possibly beginning with tonight's bachelor Sunday. All the promotion, of course, will be on ABC and won't include any wedding pictures because it's happening live. But the Sunday program on the 19th, in particular, seems to be geared towards leading up to the big wedding.

While ABC certainly would like to make a dent in the Grammy ratings, I would guess their expectations are tempered by knowing their competition. I would think that they would consider the wedding to be a ratings success if it does better against the Grammy's than whatever they showed last year.

I agree with Jcrbil. Also, for the previous weddings, the couples were already married at the time of their TV interviews and could talk about what happened at their wedding. It remains to be seen how Sean and Cat's will be handled. Perhaps they will divulge some details we don't know yet and possibly show clips of the preparations. We'll see, I guess. I wouldn't be surprised if they head out next Sunday for some NYC media on Mon and Tue and then they are off to California. Maybe the next time they go to Fellowship Church, it will be as a married couple.
