Life and Style is running pretty much the same Bach/Bachette party article with just a slight added detail

Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will become husband and wife when they say “I do” in their televised Jan. 26 wedding on ABC!

With the ceremony less than two months away, the Bachelor couple are gearing up for their last few weeks of singlehood by having separate bachelor and bachelorette parties this weekend — and Life & Style has all the details.

“Catherine’s in Miami with 15 of her girlfriends from Seattle and Dallas,” a friend of the pair’s tells Life & Style. “They’re staying at an oceanfront hotel and are planning to just party and lay in the sun.”


The 27-year-old graphic designer shared her excitement for the weekend

As for Sean, he and his group are relaxing in a cooler climate. “He got a condo with a bunch of his guy friends in Jackson Hole, Wyo., and they’re skiing,” the pal shares.

That means the lovebirds are more than 2,000 miles away from each other!

When Life & Style caught up with the groom-to-be at his 30th birthday bash in Las Vegas on Nov. 15, Sean dished on their separate party plans.

“I’m going skiing with my friends and I think she’s heading to a beach somewhere,” the Dallas native told the mag. “Just relatively low key.”

Though they’re both excited to spend time with their respective group of friends, they’re eager to tie the knot. Earlier this week, Catherine, who got engaged to Sean on The Bachelor finale earlier this year, started a “countdown lowedown” to their nuptials.

And Sean recently told Life & Style that their nuptials “will be the most beautiful wedding you’ve ever seen.”

I'm so happy that Lesley will be in the wedding party. I was sure she was but nice to see it there. I wish Jeremy wasn't. Not a fan of his at all.

He was a good friend of RS for a long time and the nasty/too full of himself attitude seemed to rub off on Jeremy. I stopped following him ages ago so no idea if he's improved with age. :Smiley:

Based on the photos from the uk online article, their colors are gold and blush? Their colors sort of remind me of Ash/JP's. I know Sean/Cat's personalities will shine through but i'm curious to know how much control they have in planning? Do they pick their own colors, flowers, etc... or does the planner put everything together and then the couple chooses from 3-4 options?

I think it depends on the couple. Ashley was in the middle of her residency and seemed to give the planner their ideas and then let the planner run with things since she and JP were so busy. It looks as if Cat is more hands on. She had earlier stated that she loved peonies and posted some pictures with her ideas and things she likes. She is also does design for a living so I think she is more interested in how things will look at the wedding. Either way, based on what I have seen with a few other people, if you do have a designer you give them your budget, likes/dislikes, and ideas you may have in terms of colour schemes, flowers and then based on that they come up with some options and you choose what you like and/or give additional suggestions for improvement. Some couples/brides just have more suggestions/ideas/plans than others and I think Cat, due to her design background, would be one of those.

Catherine Giudici, 27, looked happier than ever as she celebrated her wedding shower - the first of three - in Texas.


Forty friends and family gathered at a private Dallas home on Sunday to cheer on the Bachelor beauty who is set to wed Sean Lowe during a live ABC special on January 26.

'Catherine looked radiant and was smiling from ear to ear,' Sean's father Jay Lowe told MailOnline exclusively.

Dressed in a feminine cream-colored mini dress with black tights and heels, the Seattle native looked stunning.

The shower was thrown by Lowe family friends Teresa Conatser, Teresa Landon, Shirley Roberts and Bree Massey at Teresa's residence.

'They're longtime church friends of mine and my wife Sherry’s and they're also good friends of Sean and Catherine's,' Jay told MailOnline.

'The shower was a great success,' Jay added.

'Sherry said she’s never been to a shower where 100 percent of the invitees came, but in this case they did. It was all family and friends, and everyone had such a great time.'

Catherine tweeted a photo from the event with five pretty women, all dressed up for the occasion, flanking her..

'So blessed to call these lovely ladies my family,' the graphic designer - who last week had her Bachelorette party celebrations in Miami, Florida with a dozen girls - captioned the picture.

'Catherine really liked spending time with everyone, and was busy taking photos with each attendee,' Jay noted. 'She is a very gracious woman. We're so thrilled to have her join our family.'



A feast: Shower guests snacked on shrimp cocktail and mini croissant sandwiches

The lunch was a large spread of shrimp cocktails, mini croissant sandwiches and assorted cheeses.

For dessert there were petifores with Catherine's and Sean's initials on them, as well as chocolate-covered strawberries. Flavored punch, coffee and various teas were offered.

'The spread was impressive,' Jay noted.

After lunch, the star opened her shower gifts. 'Everyone was very gracious with gifts as Catherine excitedly opened each one,' said Mr Lowe. 'Her future sister-in-law, Shay Shull, took notes for who gave each gift.'

Sean, who had been watching the Dallas Cowboys versus the Green Bay Packers football game while his fiancée celebrated, stopped by at the end of the shower.

'He helped Catherine get the gifts back to Catherine’s house,' his father told MailOnline. 'He too was in a great mood and was gracious with everyone. He had fun saying hello.'

The ABC star is set to have two more showers, one of which is a couples shower that is scheduled to take place on January 4.

'Everyone is already getting geared up for that one,' the patriarch noted.

Sean and Catherine met during last season of The Bachelor and got engaged with a Neil Lane diamond engagement ring in Thailand over a year ago.

Soon after the Seattle native moved to Dallas to be with her fiancée and their blossoming romance has been well documented on their Twitter accounts ever since.

Last week the two shared photos during a brief trip top New York City where they posed in front of Rockefeller Center's Christmas tree and were spotted walking down Fifth Avenue.


On Saturday the leggy beauty shared a photo of herself on her bed with a caption that read, 'MRS LOWE in 42 days.'

Then on Monday she wrote, 'Today I'm doing another fitting for my wedding dress and I can't wait to put it on again!'

Wow, another Jay interview. He must have made some kind of deal with them when all the rumors were going around about the family not liking Catherine. I love how he gives us so many details lol.

The food looks great, and it sounds like they had a wonderful day. So much more for them coming up in the next month, it's going to be such a whirlwind for them. I hope they take a moment to just breathe and soak it all in.
