This is just a random comment. I was looking at the archives of Shay's blog from around this time last year. Sean spent this whole Thanksgiving weekend with his family and especially spending time with the kids. It's crazy how much has changed just a year later. I mean, I know he was engaged last year at this time. But this year he gets to spend it with his love and counting down to their wedding in just 8 short weeks. Not to mention he doesn't have to tag along with them, not that he doesn't love that, as they did things. He gets to spend the time with his family and Cat, plus snuggling while watching TLOTR. And he wouldn't trade that for anything I'm sure.

Absolutely. Last year at this time he was making do with texts and phone calls and skype sessions with her and now they get to be together all the time. It's also understandable that the Shull's must be missing him since he was available all the time to them before. Hopefully, one day there will be cousins for K&S to complete the family picture.

I am asking for prayers and warm thoughts for our friend, Poppycorn. She has recently had a tragedy in her family and could use our support. Her only brother was found dead in his home. He lived alone and was discovered by a friend. As you can imagine, this is a very sad and rough time for Poppycorn and her sisters. They need are prayers and good thoughts right now.

Poppycorn has been checking the board. If you would like to leave her a message, please do so here rather than in pm. She hopes to feel up to posting in the near future and, in particular, to share in the wedding with us. I know she doesn't want her news to be a downer here but we are a family and should support each other when needed.

Oh, and I'm sure our usual silliness here might be uplifting to her as well so please carry on with that.
