Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici - Bachelor 17 - General Discussion

I think I've mentioned this before but I've always felt Sean was choosing his F1 and eliminating his F2 at that RC. I believe that in his heart Catherine was the only one he could see wanting to propose to, even if he had a few questions. Then when his questions were answered in Thailand, he KNEw he would propose. That's my theory and I'm sticking with it. Lol

Didn't make the RC any easier to watch though.

I do agree with you. Sean knew that in his heart that Catherine was the one and I think when he finally handed her the rose he had made a decision that if Catherine wants to go to NY he will have to go with her. I am very convinced that Sean was in love with Catherine already.

I haven't watched that RC for a long time. It's so hard to know what the real timing was of all of it. We know that producers call the shots for order called in a rose ceremony and they are the ones (besides the lead) who knows what went on in all the dates- and where they will find the drama to air (manufactured or not). So it would be really interesting to know how both Sean and Catherine really felt about that RC. We learned that Sean really didn't like breaking these girls hearts at the end- and I think that's where they (TPTB) found the emotions from Sean that they could air. He didn't want to let Des down, but did know it was the right thing to do..... We always need to be aware of voice overs and reshoots and things like that as they (TPTB) weave the story for the viewers.

Lipsis..1st time TB Fan with no spoiler alert,Me. No burnin feeling but I gotta disagree with ya on this one. And I dont have a lot of time now to really share a lot of details. But, Sean had a real good feeling about Catherine from the beginning. In general, when LOVING someone is in the HEART, that person cannot deny it or try to minimize how they really feel. A person cant tell the HEART who to REALLY be in LOVE with however a MIND can play tricks on you. In other words, He knew, he felt it and had A serious /great DESIRE to be with her for the rest of his LIFE. That's.my real theory and I am sticking with it.   

Thanks Lipsis! That was fun to watch. I didn't get into Sean's season as much as normal, but still watched. After some of the bachelor's relationships tanked, it wasn't any fun anymore. Now we have Sean/Cat!! yeah!

Exactly jcbril. And Catherine's date was the only other one that had even a little drama so it was logical they would make the final rose between her and Des. The VOs and the extended pause were just added to make it even more dramatic.

I think I said that but maybe not clearly. What I was trying to say is Sean knew in his heart that he wanted to marry Catherine and once he knew in his head (in Thailand) it was a done deal.

Umnigirl & Lipsis do a fantastic job and I greatly appreciate all that they do for all of us.   I also look forward to and enjoy reading your post every time I check in on Seancat. (which I do several times a day)  Have always liked your avi too and love the way the cat has made it way into Sean's lap. That is one lucky kitty.  

Thank you for the kind words Ken. I love being here with everyone, posters and lurkers as well. We all add to this special Seancat family. The friendliness and warmth  is off the charts. Sean and Catherine are our the golden couple and we are all part of this sweet love story. I'm a noisy old cat as you all know so I will try to get into that baby swing in my next ave.
