Every year, Greenhill hosts a lunch for senior students and dads. Today, however, the seniors were visited by more than just their fathers and a hamburger truck. Catherine Giudici, winner of the 17th season of The Bachelor, paid a visit to “The Hill” to serve ice cream sandwiches from Pokey O’s Cookies & Ice Cream. The freelance graphic designer from Seattle recently moved to Dallas to be with her fiancé, and no-longer bachelor Sean Lowe. Pokey O’s is owned by the mother of one of Sean’s high school friends, so Catherine is spending some time in her new city distributing the “freshly baked cookies and good ‘ole Blue Bell Ice Cream,” as the Pokey O’s website puts it, at various events around Dallas. Thanks Joan for sharing that article. Always glad to know the story behind the picture. Love the connection to Sean though his highschool buddy. Catherine is really sharing in his life so well since her move to Dallas.
Umngirl, I know you won't read this till you're catchingnup with posts after a busy coaching day, but we miss you too. You are a backbone of this board along with lipsis. Getting up early on the weekend sucks! When you get to be an "oldie" like me you get up early too. but that's because you can't sleep......drat!

Not sure I understand Catherine's role with this ice cream place. Does she do special events only for them or does she work in the store?

@clmgiudici: At 12, I was rockin an @EmmittSmith22 jersey. At 27, I served him an ice cream sandwich. Movin on up!

I wonder if Emmett was there for Senior Day? I know he does a lot in the Dallas community. Also I saw this in Sean's twitter. Nice tweet from Molly Meznick's mom.

I have to assume she is helping out in these special events and the one at Greenhill was the first. If she worked in the store, we would have known. Someone would have tweeted that!

I am sure she is not working in the story but maybe spends sometime there since the store is close to where Sean lives.

Hahahaha maybe there is another event and she is involved again today . And enmit smith is invited . Wish sean is there too. We will see some photos of this today. Maybe they will be provided. I don't think she works for them . Maybe asking her to be participated in whatever events of PO's are doing considering the owner of this business is the mother of Sean's friend in highschool. Now if someone saw her in a certain PO's store saw her serving ice cream then we should believed it lol. Well for now we just don't know her true involvement with this ice cream business lol.

IMO, maybe one of Emmit Smith's children goes to this school. The article mentioned that every year they have luncheon for seniors and dads. Also, the owner of Pokey O's is the mother of Sean's highschool friends and they probably asked her if she wants to do this or maybe Catherine would like to be involved in this youth oriented activity. Maybe more of this to follow for both of them. They are such a joy to be around. Great job, Catherine!

OT: last night at work (hotel), I checked in this couple and they told me they are from Dallas. I was so tempted to ask them if they have seen Sean & Catherine. LOL!!

His parents have the kids while Shay and Andrew are away. Maybe they are hanging with them to help out?
