Here is another thought, since they started filming JPa season early may be they will be done by end of October so that they can have the wedding of Sean and Catherine on the 9th of November. So for me 917 will just represent how she would wear the wedding rings, wedding band first represented by (9) and engagement ring second and that's representing the 17. So in this case her favorite is 917 just my theory.

Not to downgrade your theory, but I find it hard to believe Cat left Seattle on 9/17 last year considering the girls don't usually come to town more than 4 days in advance. In fact I don't know if Sean was even in town on the 17th last year.

I think the 17 thing started long ago for Cat, not just last year. JMO
And to top it all, it was Bachelor Season 17, Sean Lowe.

Honestly, I don't think 917 has anything to do with The Bachelor. It is a number that is significant to her prior to being on the show. Crista is aware of it and its something they share. And that's my one and only opinion on the subject.

Crista may be aware of the wedding date. I am sure the numbers has something to do with Sean because he even liked that picture. I am really feel he knows what 917 means

While I'm sure that Crista does know the wedding date, I do think we're reaching to apply Catherine's addiction to 917 to her experience on The Bachelor. Because up to this point she's never referred to anything with the number 917. I'm certain that Sean knows the meaning behind the number though- as Crista does.
