917 may or may not mean today. Since she loves the number 917 and it is 9/17 then the day becomes special... we've yet to figure out the significance of her addiction to the number.... it may be because, in her history, something remarkable happened on this day OR it could be that it's just a quirky number to be addicted to (more people are addicted to numbers like 7).

In Biblical terms 7 means completion. I have learn not to try to figure out what Catherine means because 8 out of 10 we will never know.
