I can't believe you remember the words to Easy Come East Go. I am there with you too. OMG loved Booby Sherman but my favorites were the Monkees!

So is Kensington birthday this weekend then?

Oh, the fan letters I wrote and never got a personal response. Dam that Tiger Beat, must've given me the wrong address. If only we had Twitter in those days. Would've made my life easier. My hand got tired from all that writing.

Isn't it wonderful how this sweet love story bridges all ages. How could you not be in love with the lovebirds?  That being said how about Frank Sinatra and bobbysox for some of us.

I took his death very hard, in truth. It was a very sad day. But I was a Peter Tork fan myself! My older kids watched Boy Meets World and there was a great episode where they were all on there!

Oh wow you guys are bringing back the memories with all this teen heartthrob talk. I remember buying Tiger Beat with my allowance money lol. My early teen years in the late 70's were all about Donny Osmond and John Travolta. Grease is the word lol.

Ha ha  Don't leave, Smartcat!  Let's just say, we're all of a more "mature level" than most SeanCat fans.  We're young at heart!   Oldies but goodies!

One last memory.  Since Donny Osmond was mentioned, it brought back this memory.  The Osmonds came to Hawaii for a concert.  I wanted to go but all my friends said "No way!  Yuck."  :(  So the only way I could go since I didn't want to go alone was I had to pay for my friend's ticket.  Well, we both went and it was a blast.  They are very talented, not only singing but dancing and they all played different instruments.  My friend enjoyed it and they won her over.  I worked parttime as a waitress in a hotel restaurant and Donny and Marie ate breakfast and I got to talk to them.  They were so nice.  Happy days!

Anyway, since my "younger" days, I have not obsessed over anyone til SeanCat.  I honestly don't feel any appeal over anyone like Brad Pitt or George Clooney or anyone that seems to be heartthrobs nowadays.  Until, SeanCat came along.  They are my only obsession.  And a fun one, at that!  Okay, enough of that. I'm probably boring the youngsters.

Gosh, Poppycorn, I was only kidding. I would never really slink away before "SOON"
           I loved Donny and Marie as well, played their music over and over and Donny was a heart throb. At least you could understand the words. I never, never not even for Frank or Donny became a "fan" of any body and now my family thinks I've lost it.
There is something soooo appealing about these two lovers it gets under your skin and you're just compellled to follow their story. So I guess the "more Mature" fans will hang around and be as lovestruck and silly as any one of our younger friends.  

@Poppycorn & Smartcat can't help but say something here after reading both of your post  :Smiley: you guys are adorable and age doesn't really matter when it comes to the  keep up the beat! luvyall.
