So I guess I can probably read for a while since they have quite a ways to go before they reach Dallas. Google tells me it's about 9 1/2 from Albuerquerque to Dallas

I am happy they took their time. It is always nice to enjoy the time just the two of you. I love going for drives without the kids.

I think a big thing that Sean and Catherine have in common is that they both embrace what comes their way.... probably both good and bad (or at least not so good). Instead of wishing a situation might be otherwise, they seem to both be the kind who will not look back and forge ahead. And I also think they keep their eyes open so they can seize the opportunities that might be before them. Resilient and flexible- great qualities.

Thanks smartcat. I, like you, are very anxious for this wedding. It's exciting! Can't wait! It's funny how much this couple have captured our hearts. With them coming back to Dallas I just can't help feeling that this wedding is very close. Thank you to your husband and your family too for your service to our country. God Bless

You're welcome Poppycorn for the info on Cracker Barrel. Yea, those rockers are comfortable and I seriously doubt that you're an old fogey. I love rockers so they impressed me when I saw a line of them to relax in if you had to wait. Hopefully you'll get to check it out one day.

That will be nice since I have never been there too. I have one close to my house but never had an interest to go inside.

It may have to wait til my trip home in October but I'll try my best to make it happen. Or just recruit my sister to visit the one 5 miles from her place.

Poppycorn, just imagining her in a wedding dress while I read your post gives me goose bumps. Can't wait to see her as a bride. I'm wondering also how she'll wear her hair.

They also look fresh and well rested in the picture which means they had stayed overnight somewhere. Good for them enjoying their trip.
