Group date was dodge ball, but balls looked like they would not do any damage, then winning team went to a day spa with Tim. Bianca only one cut. Looks like two on one next week with Rochelle and Laura.

That's my point.  Every 1st date a person is a nervous wreck.

Based on just the caps I put up, I'm guessing the final 2 are going to be Danielle and Penny.  Sarah Mae is going to be the Final 3 gal, but that hot tub could be from that caves date.  I'm still trying to figure out Ali.  

Danielle is not getting a great edit, she is coming across as somewhat mean, Sarah also to a much lesser extent but not sure whether to compare to the US version on who is getting the F1 edit. Definitely a connection with Penny but there is an age difference which most of the average conservative Australian guys would think through twice. Think Ali will self-implode at some point (you will see when you watch) although am loving watching her clothes and her hair and Tim is very sweet to her. They only show a dinner portion of the two on one in the promo and Laura not in a stripped top in what was shown.

I'm going off the caps. It's hard to figure the edit, because he gave Judy the very first rose and then seemed to have no interest in her at all and she was gone by the 3rd episode. Plus, he didn't kiss any of the ladies until episode 4.

Scratch my guess on the Final 2. The kiss with Penny could be 1 on 1 time from a group date when they are on the boat? I guess I need more info about how many episodes are left.

Were Sarah & Danielle part of the dodge ball date?

I just think it's odd that Ali did an interview. It just gives me the impression that she's not final 1, due to that.

So, there has yet to be anyone not getting a rose on their 1 on 1 date. That's odd too, because that carnival date with I think Emily seems to go very well.

There are just so many caps with Sarah that she at least makes it to Home Town Dates.

From what you are saying about Sarah Mae's edit, I think she's getting the Ali edit from Jake's season. She was hardly the nice type and got into it with Vienna all the time.

"I think I need to go to the toilet"... What girl would say that if she is not really sick.

To add, I think they are making her look worst than she really is. I think she is probably cool strong person. Again she wears her heart on her sleeve and is to sensitive for this show's format.

Sounds like she could have given Tierra lessons. Ha! Then that can be said of any of the gals on this show. There was no reason for her to be nervous. She had a rose already.

I think what sets off alarms for me was that she acted like this right when meeting him. She didn't even get to know Tim first. I frankly think his background is mega odd and his attitude about the US version being unrealistic? What about Ali? She's realistic? Again, something just seems not to gel with his attitude about an engagement and her declaring she's in love right off the bat.

I had Ali & Anna being his favorites from the first episode but maybe not after all, have to watch this week's to see. I do not think it will be Penny as the F1, just don't see him having romantic chemistry with her.

Who do you guess will be final 1?  I could see Ali, but that interview she did and just how Tim said in interviews that this season is more 'realistic' than the US version (ending in engagement/being in love) just doesn't jive with her being final 1.

I don't see Anna being Final 1 either.

I don't with Sarah, because she's only 22!  Maybe, she could due to knowing it's not going to lead into an engagement let alone marriage.

I just think Penny could be due to the 'Tortoise and the hare' theme that Danielle brought up and no one sees it coming.  Penny has been very patient.  

Danielle is like the typical Final 2 rejected gal.  

The only one that is still a total mystery to me is Emily.  Have they shown her more?

Emily, Katherine, & Bianca are the 3 girls that I haven't really seen a lot of so far. Ali was my pick for F1 from the beginning but agree that interview made it clear she probably isn't. Not sure yet who it could be, hopefully by the next few episodes we get to see more of the girls and I'll have an idea.

I think the overall issue here is that there is no-one who is a really great match for Tim even if he was interested in finding a life long partner. I think because it was the first one in Australia and we have heard a number of girls say they only knew a little about The Bachelor, the producers did not have a wide selection of girls.

That's true. I really don't see anyone being a 'match'. But, he's not twittering or blogging or anything. It's hard to read him.

Here's an update on ratings from Wed.:

The Bachelors move to Wednesdays raised it, but it still came 4th in it’s time slot. 15 THE BACHELOR AUSTRALIAWED Network TEN 656,000

Penny was really the stand out in this latest episode. She isn't really one of my favorites though, just comes across as "me me me". Time will tell. Ali seems to still be the front runner though you can tell Tim cares about her. I was surprised at who went home though!
