my question too...maybe he's walking around? not away? back and forth but not away?

one thing that just occurred to me is -- WHY are the images of GSG snipped together with the image of BSG walking away!?
I think this is a huge clue because, they could easily have shown BSG walking away and snipped his head/hands/part of his body out so we can't tell it's him BUT they do not do that. Instead they use images of Ashley talking to GSG showed GSG moving forward toward the plank while she keeps watching him (though not moving all the way down and away or even walking away a little bit from the actual podium) and then snipped in BSG's back and foot after which she runs away....

I say it is a fakeout!! based on this snipping job! cos otherwise why would they need to do this snipping job...?? They wanted us to think GSG walked out while in reality BSG walked out....or maybe they want us thinking both walked out...but they didn't show two of them walking they snipped GSG to BSG which tells me they DONT have SC of GSG walking out at all!! he's just moving around and is nervous (we here a loud breath being taken and see a caption "exhales deeply") when GSG is walking forward towards the plank then back...

I think the whole thing is a fakeout to make us think that Ashley leaves alone. That promo was VERY carefully edited to give a certain impression, with no real proof, for a reason. Based on the comments here, mission accomplished.

Oh absolutely, no doubt. The average viewer will think she ends up alone, or that JP is walking out on her.

Look at this video at the 7:17 minute mark it appears JP is reaching to get the ring out of his pocket. Then look at the 7:20 mark Ashley's eyes follow his hand down to look at something. Then go to the 7:49 mark she looks like she is about to smile before he is about to get on one knee away from the direction the wind is blowing. Notice Ashley keeps trying to keep her hair out of her face there. As soon as she turns her hair isn't an issue anymore. IMO:

Great catch Love!! -- i definitely see her eyes going to his hands AND especially the creases on the jacket changing his hands are reaching into his pockets!! :missclap:

ETA: so both of them are emotional - ashley tears up as JP reaches for the ring in his pocket then he moves forward to her side ...and JP exhales deeply cos he's nervous ashley is still watching him starts smiling then he kneels down and proposes!

The fact that there is not one shot of Ashley smiling at that FRC is a tip off that the producers did this on purpose, to make viewers think that everything went horribly wrong. I guess they gave up trying to edit the showdown between the F1 and F2 to be a believable horse race, so the only other way to get suspense, especially in light of the Bentley fiasco, is to make us doubt that her choice will really come through for her, and will probably try to imply that Ashley has f***ed it up again. I'm not buying it.
