Well, I won't lie... I have never watched the finale because it was so awkward seeing her e. with Chris when I couldn't even stand to watch their dates. I see their pictures and Desiree doesn't look like herself...her dress doesn't look like her, the color doesn't look like her ..and the guy doesn't look like her . How do you go from feeling hopeless and sobbing you just want to go home after your heart has been that shattered finding out the love of your life doesn't want to marry you to accepting another mans proposal within a few days ?? Looks to me like she was totally desperate and willing to do what she promised she would never do... settle !!. Maybe I don't know her as well as I thought I did, but at the end of the day, I'm glad she's not sad and alone ; that would be awful. I'm sure she and Chris are in love with each other by now as they sound happy in Seattle..but for me, its still terribly awkward. I can't believe anybody could make that kind of swift turn around without it being a rebound situaion. Bet TPTB was somewhat behind it. It must have killed her to have Brooks tell her she wasn't the one for him. But I know if it had been me..being as in love with him as she said she was, I would have gone home alone taking a chance to date him in the real world rather than settle for anyone else and losing him forever. It was the marriage proposal Brooks wasn't ready for...YET !! YIKES

What is in the Brooks discussion thread? Are they trashing him there?  

There is gossip blog person in the Des and Chris thread that is saying Chris and Des are already broken up (I totally don't believe it) but what gets me is they are saying a Brooks fan may be behind it. I'm only saying this so you will know if you go there that this is part of the thread. I posted to set the record straight from my perspective (C and D being broken up is not true and a Brooks fan is not behind this crap).  

The Sisterhood of the Brooks Traveling Pants (SBTP) need to stick together...we are here for the right reasons!!!  

I can't decide if I want to go back and watch the show from the beginning....what do you think?  :anyone?: I watched some of it yesterday and it was a reminder of how terrific I think Brooks is but also the connection Des and Brooks had. Maybe it will just make me sad. :Frown: Maybe I just need to watch it all one more time so I can get closure.  Brooks is fun to look at. My husband is out of town so I could do a Brooks marathon...sounds kind of good doesn't it?!?

Did you notice Canyonvue is posting on Brooks twitter page and instagram's. Wonder what happened that she just stopped posting here? She definitely has the Brooks fever...isn't shy about posting in either place. She's a brave girl.

I don't give a rats a$$, what Des and Chris are up to. Get married, have kids, grow a chia pet. I really don't care. What I will never forgive Des for, is carrying on the way she did when Brooks left. It was so extreme TPTB was able to spin into two episodes. Her reactions and her words were spoken, and taped. The devout lovers of C and D cannot erase those words or feelings. Period.
Back to Brooks....love all the new pics !! I am thankful he is still reaching out to the masses :) I hope he reaches for the stars and gets to touch one!

Aww gruder, it's not Des' fault. It's the producers that drug it on so long. But I won't complain too much because we got a lot of Brooks time.

I truly hope that Des is happy, but I have to admit that I can't wrap my arms around her talking about memories of her dates with Chris when she told the world she was thinking about Brooks when she was on those dates. Maybe I should just stop following her on Twitter.
