Part of the fit marketing presentation today had a clip of the break up scene and something to do with his hair. You can see it in a picture two -three pages back. Why would you want to show such an uncomfortable thing at a huge gathering?

The name of the presentation was called "Marketing Lessons from The Bachelorette" so it probably was something on honesty or ending something if it is not right and they showed the clip as an example. Brooks is talking about lessons from HIS journey so frankly I dont see how he could completely ignore his biggest moment of it. I'm sure they ended with something positive like the engagement to show that it works out as it should in the end.

The hair thing was a joke - his bosses were on stage as well so they must have talked about FitMakerting as well.

Wow, Des does seem a little lackluster in that interview perhaps she was just tired? She had that "just woke up" look.

The more I see them together the more its confirmed that they are perfect together...I don't know what it was about that interview but they both come off as two of the dullest people in the planet. Happy they found each other! I could definitely see them staying together forever.
I have to agree. :hidingchair They may be very happy tog. but there's no interest to me as a fan - hard to imagine any passion between them, and Chris, likely a great guy, always seems uncomfortable to me. They both seem very low energy types. I think my impression of Des going into the show was probably way off.

When many were finding this season boring earlier on I was like "What? Des is so cute and fun with Brooks and Zak." Now I'm realizing maybe it was much more Brooks and Zak that were so fun and cool they elevated the whole situation around them to be entertaining. I never found Des as fun, lively, engaged and full of life on any other 1-1 date as she was on her first one with Brooks.

Back to current day Brooks, I love all the pics. Hope he is having fun with his notoriety at this thing.

Afterawhile, thanks so much for bring up the picture background thingy (obviously I don't know what you call it). And thanks to everyone else that is bringing forward all the pictures. You all rock!!!! bestbud!

Maybe it was a joke but I thought someone on twitter brought up Brooks making fun of his "bad hair day" on the conference video...maybe that was a joke. Wish we could see it. He seemed to be talking about knowing what it was like to be in a sorority with the guys during the show coming back and talking about their dates. I'll bet that was a hoot. Maybe that's where Brooks started to feel that he wasn't as far along as the other guys. I know he seemed to be close to Chris, maybe Brooks got out seeing how Chris felt about Des and Brooks didn't see himself there. We have to figure out a way to see that video..... :yes:

I will stand by my intuition that he and Bascom hatched this plan when he was home for his HTD and he decided to bail on the show ... perhaps not wanting to propose, not feeling it, or feeling insecure about standing compared to rivals.

Also have wondered the same about the book of poems, and (sorry, lawyer, can you tell) pondered who "owned" those poems under the incredibly one-sided ABC/NZK agreements with cast.

Courageous move by Brooks. But still pales compared to the Fraud that Was People Water, the "Eco-friendly" Non-charity!

Perhaps ABC feels that this is equivalent to the cost of a Diamond engagement ring for the way they used these two over the summer. Same thing for the book of "poems" that will be published. ABC and franchise took too many liberties this season just to get back at someone. Of course, this is just my opinion.

Hi Karenap... welcome to Brooks Fan thread. I love your little poem, and it is so apropos. I agree with Books displaying a level of sanity that is so refreshing for this show. I am beginning to like atem's idea of someday the F2 saying 'no way Jose' to the lead. Maybe this new season with JuanPa will be the one!

Now,let's see if we can come up with any more diddies for roses are red...
