I never understood all of the Reid love. To this day, he remains the most over rated contestant ever, IMO. He and Jillian would have never worked. She looked at him as a friend, she wasn't his type. Both were deeply in the bubble to even consider the possibility with the other. Jill is a free spirit, Reid is wound up tight. I always found Reid to be kind of judgemental and entitled... Especially post-show after he lost. Plus, the guy is a serious commitment-phobe, just like Ed. The only difference is that Ed owns who he is, Reid does not.

For Jill, there was no choice other than Ed...and it did work for them for a year which is longer than most. Is Ed an overgrown frat guy who is unready for marriage? Yes. But, he is who he is, he loved Jill for a period of time and she him, and they even remained friends after. Was it meant to be? No. But of the 30, Jill chose the best choice for her. It didn't work out like it hasn't for 22 other Bach couples, but it lasted longer than most. She and Reid would have lasted even less time.

Back on topic. I think Des and Chris are kind of like Jason and Molly. Molly was second choice as well for Jason, but outside the bubble, she was clearly the most compatible. I feel the same way about Chris and Des. For most of theses couples the relationships really start after the show anyway, and that's where I see Des really giving Chris a chance.

I haven't been following much since the show ended, but I just wanted to say that I was one of those that believed the spoilers. I thought for sure it was Brooks or no one, and I would fast forward through much of the show and just watch the scenes with Des and Brooks. I always liked Chris and Drew, but just didn't give it much of a thought because of the spoilers, I do regret that now. But I was pleasantly surprised with the ending, and actually post show, very happy she chose Chris. Looking at what they're doing now, I think Chris is a better match, and he's solid. The only reason why I was a Brooks fan is because I thought he was Des' F1, but honestly, I haven't been that impressed with him post show... what's with all the self portraits of him on Instagram???

So, I re-watched a lot of Chris and Des' dates. They are a totally cute couple. And re-watching it after the ending (when I didn't think Brooks was returning) gave it a new, better perspective. I think they have as much of a chance as any couple, mostly because of Chris' fabulous attitude.

I obviously love Brooks but - for whatever reason (still unclear) he didn't think he and Desiree would work out. And she probably ended up with the better match in the end.

Props to you, girlie! Des had a wonderful group of guys, esp. her F3, and it really worked out for the best for all of them.
