I don't understand something about this forum, maybe someone can enlighten me?

It says in the rules that this is the Brooks Fan Page and anything negative posted about Brooks will be deleted and the member possibly banned. Why is it okay to post negative comments about everyone else from the show?

I have just caught up reading everything on here since yesterday and I counted 57 posts about Chris and/or Chris & Des. Why? I don't understand. If this is Brooks' Fan Page then why so much talk about Chris? Are people starting to run out of something new to say about my fav Brooks? Who cares about Chris or even Des for that matter?

Maybe this is a sign that it's time for me to finally be done with this forum and this disappointing season all together. Time to force myself to "get over it" and move on. I feel like I'm reading the same things from a week ago. I was really hoping this was going to be an actual Fan thread but I guess I was wrong because I don't want to talk about Chris. Any help on this would be really appreciated...

Mandy61, my big post was in response to someone downplaying Brooks relationship with/feelings for Des. I had mixed feelings about posting it because I didn't want to rehash it but I think if he didn't feel something along the way or saw some potential I trust that he would have left long before he did. I think he was being honest and true to his feelings. I didn't want to let it slide with the impression that there wasn't anything seen/felt between Des and Brooks. My comments were all positive about Brooks and Des too.

I think it's good to point out that a Brooks Fan thread shouldn't be trashing to others and I agree with that. I think it's pretty natural to question the process and question how things happened the way they did because the ending was so shocking. That being said.....

I think all of us (except the trollers...we do have them) belong to the Sisterhood of the Brooks Traveling Pants. We love Brooks and believe he stayed true to his feelings. We want to follow him and see where his travels take him. We want to see his pictures and follow his tweets. JMO I was disappointed with the ending because I wanted to see more of him and watching him in this journey was a love story. I love love stories. He is adorable...did I say that?!? Even with the ending I still want to follow Brooks and all his adventures. That's what this "Sisterhood" is all about..... bestbud!

Ha! I was willing to accept Des for him as a partner but nobody else now that he is single! Its hysterical...

I know how you guys feel - I don't really want to think about him dating although it definitely is going to happen sooner than later. I think just like seeing Des with Chris was, seeing him with someone else will be weird too. Isn't Jackie one of Des' closer friends from Sean's season - and the one who was on the finale saying she thought Des still loved Brooks? Wonder if Des knows they are all hanging out - because even though she is with Chris, it still would be strange if my friend was hanging out with my ex...

Honestly, I think that discussing whatever Brooks' fans need to discuss relating to Brooks is alright. Some people are still getting over it. Chris fans still discuss Brooks in their thread. I don't think it's going to be all lovey dovey kiss kiss Brooks love 100% all the time on here. Part of being a Brooks fan is discussing anything to do with him. I do agree it does need to include him.

I hope Brooks and Jackie keep that hanging out to a minimal, if they do at all.

Do you think we'll get the twerking video today? Do you think he's really twerking on it? What's taking so long? He's got to get that twerk just right? It's okay if he doesn't do well. I've tried it and it's hard. giggling

Oh, and btw, the fact that he's still planning for Denver yesterday proves that Brooks wasn't at the airport yesterday.

I do think that this message board has gotten a little hostile lately. I have tried to express my view of the situation without being negative about anyone else and I think for the most part, so has everyone else. It does bother me when non-fans post in a fan thread negative things about Brooks and try to cause problems. I think that is when it appears when some people get upset and post more negatively about Chris and Des in defense of Brooks. Then those same posters go back to the Chris/Des thread and report what was said without giving the full breakdown of what will down to cause the poster to react in the first place. I seldom post on message boards (have not since Jason's season on a different board) and only started this season because I really liked Brooks so all this heated back and forth is all new to me too.

I don't know why Brooks just seem to get fans of other contestants heated. It is true a lot of it has been in defense of Brooks. For some reason Brooks fans have never been allowed the courtesy of having a peaceful thread all to themselves. Not even now, post mortem. I guess he's just forever a looming threat. Yet, in real life, Brooks really couldn't care less about the Bachelorette show now (hopefully that includes all the exes). He seems to want to avoid it. He seems to be keeping it real, once again.

Hi isittrue, I was not sure if I should even post but here it goes. First of all I am a fan of Des and Chris and support her decision. I also am a fan of Brooks and Drew, and wish them nothing but the best.

I was around the boards (not this one but another one) during jason's season and it was brutal. He and Molly were crucified. There is no comparison at all with what is going on with Des. Des and Chris have a lot of fans and supporters via Twitter, instgram and these boards. Jason and Molly had very few.

Most of the posters on the Chris thread know that the ending was shocking (thank you tptb) and have been where some of you are today with grieving etc. and are understanding of that.

Just know there are people who come on just to cause problems, and try and shut the boards down. Happens every season, some worse than others. I did want to speak to the comment you made about Jackie. She is a VERY good friend of Des, and supports her and Chris. Just read her twitter.

Okay, signing off now but I must say I am very impressed with the amount of pictures you have found of Brooks. He is a very good looking man and some will say fortunately and others unfortunately, but he is going to have many, many women and yes a lot from BachelorNation come after him. I think he can handle it!! ;) Have a great day!
