It could actually be a combination of both! Mozaic, the church they have been attending, is doing a series called Match on relationships, dating and marriage. Maybe after the sermon (assuming they went!) she realized how grateful she is for Sean.

Makes sense if Mozaic is doing a series on love from relationships to marriage and they went to church as they usually do in LA, Cat woukld certainly be grateful for her present and her future.
