What if... Sean called Cynthia on the day of the FRC to tell her he wanted to marry Catherine and asked for her blessing? Could it be something we might see in the wedding special?

I think they played up the drama with Cat's HTD because otherwise it would have been more obvious that Des was going home. I think some of the things Cat's sisters said he did want to talk to her about, but I don't think it was as big an issue as they made it seem.

And I've always wondered if he did ask for Cynthia's blessing again before the proposal. Maybe that's one of those tidbits that will come out either in the wedding special or self-admitted.

I've long wondered if Sean didnt make his F1 decision at that RC. Were his top 2 really Catherine and Desiree and the other 2 maybe more disposable and when he knew that Cat would be his F1, he let his F2 go as soon as he could? Does that make sense?

It's possible. I know past leads have said they let them real F2 go home at the F3 RC because it would be easier on them to not go through the end. I could see where Cat and Des could be his real F2, but I think when Des started kinda pulling away and not being as open, his mind changed towards her. So in that sense, I think maybe she wasn't in his real F2. I do think he probably wishes he took her to F3 instead on AshLee (for obvious reasons).

Cynthia said in that interview that they were all skeptical and asked some tough questions. The thing he talked about in his blog for that episode and I think in an interview was the sisters said her dream was always to go to New York to work. He wondered why she had not told him that. I will always wonder how much of that rose ceremony was real and how much was producer driven. Was he really that close to sending her home.?

So true. To that end he probably wishes now that Lesley got the hometown instead of AshLee. He should have run for the hills when AshLee starting yelling her love for him. Psycho, much?

She really is. I watched her on the WTA yesterday. She actually got on him because he didn't come check on her after he let her go! He had no clue how to answer her.

He also defended Cat's sisters and mom on twitter for being skeptical. He said he understood it and he would be too.

I never wanted to say goodnight to Catherine. We always had a good time together and being around her was so easy and natural. I was thrilled to see her in at home in Seattle. We had so much fun walking through Pike's Place Market and I loved seeing her favorite spots. But meeting Catherine's family was pretty intimidating! They seemed skeptical about me and I'm not sure they believed that this could work.

Her sisters also told me that Catherine had a strong desire to pursue a career in New York and that she may not be ready to settle down. I found it strange that they were telling me this, yet Catherine had never mentioned it. I'm all for supporting her dreams, but I wished she'd shared those dreams with me.

I left Seattle knowing that I had a desire to be with Catherine, but just wasn't sure if our lives aligned.

In the end, I gave the rose to Catherine over Des because I couldn't picture saying goodbye to Catherine yet.

This is just my thoughts, that everything that happened was according to God's plan. We all noticed that Sean loves Catherine unconditional. If he really loved Des, he could have over looked the bother. I like the fact that Sean said, "now it goes to who will I miss most tomorrow if I send her home today" which shows that he was really not into Des. Sean said he is willing to support Catherine with her career.
