It couldn't have been easy seeing "IT'S OVER" on tabloid magazine covers and numerous articles speculating on the demise of their relationship. One more thing.. Cat and Sean have been together for 9 months. Des and Chris what.. 3 months and only 2 weeks in the "real world". I do hope they make it but for people to make comparisons/comments to Sean & Cat... let's wait and see if their still together to celebrate their 9 month engagement.
No offense against Chris as I really like him and think he's a great guy, but can't imagine buying his poetry book. Did he really write enough poetry to fill an entire book?! Just can't see people willing to spend money on a book of his poetry. Oh well....

Well he needs to take advantage their popularity . ( I know I sounded harsh here but come on, he knows about how many people will buy his book at this situation . ) no brainer lol. Don't get me wrong chris is a nice guy so I don't have a problem if he will have a poetry book soon to come out that made by him . I think people will buy his book . They have enough supporters to that and throw the Seattle people lol.
Oh honestly think poetry is romantic but too much is becoming awful to me . Well just me who is not fun in poetry but he is good making his own poetry and I appreciate that. Just saying .

It's hard not to feel offended by stupidity. Those of us that come to this board and are loyal fans of Seancat know the truth about their committed relationship. We are following them to see the real fairy tale ending, Their wedding.
The tabloids are stupid money making junk, dumb statements by cafemom are just to be ignored. Fans of Des and Chris can say anything they choose and make uncalled for comparisons. We here will continue to follow our adorable couple and follow their example. Sean says over and over "forget the "s**t ( not a direct quote just my paraphasing )

Despite the insistence from tabloid blogs, social media and fan forums, I don't ever feel a need to compare Catherine-Sean and Des-Chris. Ever. They're two great couples who seem to be working hard on their relationships. Good for them.

I know right ? I feel the same ladies but good for me to keep my opinion to myself and just ignore . I think it is the best thing to do not to post to other forums . After all they can talk anything they want there but it is really hard to read that the comparison is keep showing in there and dissing seancat . I don't like talking some people on this site because we have our own thing going on here and it is so much fun to stay what this forum is all about. And we can go crazy here from our own opinions lol and stay to the regular program.:)

Agree with everything. LA or Dallas, they will make it work. How long has it been since they've gone to a Hollywood event?? The only time they were spotted going to dinner and clubs was when Sean was on DWTS with all the pros/celebs which is usually what they all do after a show to unwind. Their daily lives are just like any other couple, low-key which I like. Just because they are still in LA unlike the other couples doesn't mean they are there for the fame, it's just until the wedding happens since it's looking like it will be located somewhere on the West Coast. and then they will work on getting settled in Dallas.

I for one really do not see any comparison between SeanCat and DesChris because SeanCat were truly in love and we have seen they love grow. Sean and Catherine do not have anything to prove we all saw their relationship growing during the bachelor and it is now blooming. We can see the fruits of their relationship. On the other hand I am sorry for saying this but it is the truth, Des settled for Chris and she has a lot to prove. She has to prove to the world and to Chris that she is in love with him. I really think that is the reason she moved with him so quickly. These two couples are very different and no reason to compare them at all. If it happens that we compare them Sean and Catherine are miles and miles ahead in their relationship.

Just to throw this in: over time I may have had couples I believed in more than others, or liked/could relate to more than others, but I ALWAYS hope for the best, hoping they have found what is meant to be, and that we will get to someday see a happy ending wedding.

I want to see BOTH Sean-Catherine and Des-Chris work out, and see reasons to have hope for BOTH, although I don't EXPECT that either will, just because of the ways the odds and the situation goes (I'm not going to assume I know more than I actually do (which is nothing beyond what they CHOOSE to show us)).

Why can't people simply enjoy the story of BOTH?

I find something compelling with each couple: with SeanCat, its how different they are in obvious ways, yet connected in sweet and funny little ways. With Des and Chris, it is how he finally got her to break the destructive patterns she was in, and is truly a good match for her, kind of Sense and Sensibility as someone else posted. Are the stories true? Who knows, who CARES? THEY live the truth, we watch the story, and I like the stories.

She owes us nothing...needs to prove nothing to us. And clearly Chris is happy -- unless you think his tweets and instagrams are staged. His latest tweet/instagram stated "just so happy" That says it all. IMHO

Do not get me wrong, I never said that they are not happy but I just said you cannot compare them to them with Sean and Catherine. I do not follow Des and Chris at all, I am a fun of Sean and Catherine only. Sean and Catherine are very happy too.

Can I remind everyone that this is the Sean and Catherine Fan Forum. I personally don't follow Des and Chris and would prefer they are not brought up here. Obviously, when they're talked about here people even have to come over here to defend them so let's just get back to our couple. And please no more comparisons. They are in completely different places at this point in my opinion.

You should be asking all the other members who've been bashing Sean since his season started. I'm assuming you made this comment because you saw some "Des settled for Chris" remarks from a couple of the members in here. Now, imagine being a fan of Sean/Cat and having to deal with that x10 (hello, general non-fan forum). "Sean's just like Jake Pavelka!!!"...Lord, you obviously haven't been following him if you're making that assumption. "They'll be done before DWTS ends"...then it's, "they'll be done before summer", and now it's, "if they get married, it'll be for money/publicity only..." In terms of drama and choosing the F1, Sean's season paled in comparison to Des' but people continue to doom Sean/Cat's relationship and see IT with Chris/Des. It's just, odd.

I enjoyed Des and Sean's seasons. I got teary-eyed when Sean proposed to Cat and teary-eyed again, when Chris proposed to Des. Like i've always said, Sean/Cat and Des/Chris have just as good of a shot as any other past couple.
