First and foremost, the producers and everyone that is in production for the show, are just the nicest people.  I had such a great experience.  The show, which I have watched every season, is a TV show.  This is not to say that once in a while you don’t catch magic in a bottle (Sean and Catherine, Trista and Ryan, Jason and Molly), but a large portion of the show is to entertain us as viewers.  Everything you see is real, it’s not scripted, but there are subtle hints given that might help get topics and conversations started.  In the end, do you really want people sitting around talking about the weather for 3 hours?  A little gas on the fire never hurt to get it started.  That’s all I am saying.

Just read Shay's blog and the Q and A Andrew answered. He did include Sean and Catherine in the " magic in a bottle" comment and that was really nice. He also answered he was not as close to Sean as he once had been. He did say he hoped that would change.

^I'm guessing Andrew said he's not as close to Sean as he once was because they don't spend as much time together anymore. They were used to seeing each other all the time, but with Sean living elsewhere at the moment, it makes it kinda difficult to still maintain that super close relationship. I'm sure when SeanCat do settle down in Dallas that their relationship will change back to how it once was.

umngirl- I agree with you. There was a time when Sean was working for Andrew- before the b-ette and I know they saw each other daily. And we saw that when Sean was in Dallas they saw each other all the time- at least once a week, if not more.

Sean is rightly concentrating on Catherine- and that will be so when they move to Dallas ( and I do think it's a matter of when not if). He has his own family. But Andrew knows that it will just be another stage of their relationship. And in many ways it will be good. I think much of their relationship has been similar to big brother (Andrew)/ younger brother (Sean)- even when they played football at K-State. I think they will morph into a more peer-like relationship- as it should be with Sean approaching 30!

I also think before Sean was close to him because he was all by himself and now he has Catherine. I think Sean's priority is now on Catherine. Catherine is now Sean's best friend and they are spending time together building on their relationship. I really admire Sean for putting Catherine first.

Yes, that and when friends get married to their spouses, the friends time goes down. Your spouse is your priority. Sean and Andrew were lucky because Andrew married Sean's sister. Couple that with Sean was single and usually available at the Shull's convenience, then that made getting together easier. Things are going to to be different even when Sean and Catherine settle in Dallas. For the Lowe's, there will still be time with the Shull's but not like it used to be. The Lowe's time together will come first. Maybe Andrew and Sean can play a weekly sports game that their wifey's can attend and root them on and then do dinner after?

^^But Sean has also been on a whirlwind since after his season wrapped up. He went on to dancing which consumed much of his time and even kept him from spending enough quality time with his fiancée. I agree with those saying his priority thereafter has been Catherine and rightfully so, and I think Andrew understands that perfectly. When the dust settles like Andrew put it, their relationship will definitely go back to what it probably was especially with SeanCat living next door to them in Dallas.

It's too bad Andrew said he can't play flag football even or I would have said that was an option.

All the above posts make sense. I agree that Catherine is now the "best friend" as it should be. I'm sure when the Jr Lowes are living in Dallas the friendship will get closer again.
Right now Sean and Catherine are living a very different life in LA and they have so many new friends. Fortunately I've loved seeing Seancat so included with the Dallas group and this last trip with the Silvers was great.

I think it's only fitting that the number one priority is the wife or the husband or the significant other. Everyone else should come second.  I'm glad that Sean and Cat seem to be doing just that.

Oh and I enjoyed watching that proposal again and the comments. To me hands down, the best proposal ever of all the seasons I've watched of this show.

Can you imagine what lumps of quivering jello we'd be if Sean hadn't rushed and forgotten to tell her why he loved her and whatever else he skipped so he could get down on his knee to propose?

You mean to tell me I would have been an even bigger mess watching their proposal than I already was? That's too much to think about. And with how Catherine was reacting to his proposal, she might have actually passed out if he had said everything he wanted to say.
