Okay, I was reading in the Brooks thread and wow, I don't even know what to think! I almost posted something, then stopped myself and did not send it. Any advice? How does everyone handle reading some of the various, opinions? I guess most of them are still sad and in shock, but hard to understand the loyalty they have to a particular outcome that was never meant to be.

for those who knew my cray2 mind over Chris, it is no surprise that i can log in on Chrisville like 10-15 times a day. 

but i can remember correctly how many times i lurked into Brooks thread. 3 times. pre, during and post show respectively. The latter 2 times was the saddest time in my life.LOL.:shocked!:  ...that i must PMd my bestie right away to have girly talk and pouring out my gloomy heart. NO KIDDING.

It fluctuates between Des is boring vanilla and they want a do-over so Brooks can realize he loves her. I rooted for Arie and never came around to be happy for effie and em, so I sort of understand it, though Chris is no 1F. I never thought she and Brooks were a match and that's not saying anything against Brooks, I just saw them as different, while Chris and Des seem very well matched.

I'd like to think that the thought of letting Chris go would have been too much for her and she would have realized it by the end. It's funny that she completely seemed to bounce back on the boat/LCD like nothing had happened.

I send this post with some apprehension...I am a Bres fan. I went the whole season being spoiled and thinking the finale would end with Brooks and Des together. Last Monday night was very disappointing...I wanted it to end differently. I know Chris fans were thrilled and you should be. Only speaking for myself I just need some time to question, vent, and be disappointed. It's nice to do that with people that feel the same way I do because it helps.

What's clear is Des, Chris , Brooks and Drew have had time to move on....Bres fans are still in shock. We just need time to be disappointed for while. I'm sure if Des had ended up with Brooks you would feel the same way.....wouldn't you?

I think this is probably because people see the Brooks/Des relationship in two different lights. On one hand, championing and wanting the dramatic, heart-pumping drama that the show was selling she experienced with Brooks- the high highs and the low lows essentially. Then there's the view that those types of adrenaline fueled relationships only cause harm and the best kind of love is the sweeter, gentler, more placid love that grows quietly with a steady, protective partner, basically what the show was selling with Chris.

The truth is probably somewhere closer to the middle of what she experienced with each guy, but it's definitely the polarizing intent of the edit and the reason people either root for or against one couple B/D over the other C/D. JMO obvs

Thanks to those spoilers we were already prepared and stocked with tissues! We also had began our campaign for chris as tb ! But I remember feeling that way last yr with arie! I was disappointed with em.... But chris is noooooo 1f so I would think Bres fans would accept it a little better this time around!

I understand.. I am just now letting Des inch a tiny bit into my avi. I wasn't too happy with her for a while because of what she said to Brooks about being conflicted. I think we went through some disappointment after part 1.
