Ita! Des is a beautiful girl but she did seem a little dull and unhappy on the show..... But I Have never seen her so fresh faced and glowing/alive since after the show ended! Chris is really working his magic on her and she loves it as its written all over her face!

It seems that Chris really loves her unconditionally so she's able to be free to expresss her true self. She looks really happy. A good man can do that to a woman in my experience. I tend to forget that Chris is only 26 but what a man he already is! Does anyone here know his birthday?

I wonder when the hardcover will be available and where - they give the ISBN # for it but only show the ebook edition here and I do not have a digital reader and would like to get the hardcover. I agree Baseball Mom it does just make you fall more in love with Chris!

I am so happy for Des and Chris. The interview was adorable and when I was watching it I was thinking that they have a comfort between them that I have not seen between any of these couples like I see between them.

I am excited to get my hands on Chris' poetic memoir. He had a poll on twitter on where we would like to see the book. I voted for hardback even though I do have my Kindle and like it. There is just something about holding a book that I love.

I can't wait to start getting little wedding details. I am 100% behind this couple and I think they will definitely get married.

Thanks BMom, for sure I am getting the kindle version and the hard copy when it gets out. Hopefully a lot of folks get these to support the "Des and Chris cute little house by the water"  

I have decided to also get both the Kindle and hard copy! If you haven't read it yet, you should check out the cover description and the foreword!

Yes, they seem so well matched. Even writing poetry around the same time before they even met. That's so cool.

Here is a line in one of his poems...
"Don't be blinded by the ones who conceal."

Here is what he tells us about that line...
I was afraid she may not see the true side of some people in the house, or at least the side that we saw. Line five I will leave up to you to analyze. Let’s just say it is thought provoking…

On the surface, it would seem he was talking about James, but then why would we need to analyze it? I think he is implying Brooks was concealing something??? And does that connect with the "secrets" he can't keep?

From that very heartfelt intro, I'm thinking that there's most likely no turning back for these two. He's in it for life. Plus, he's so grounded, humble, and grateful for everything in his life. What a guy! I'm excited for this book!

veg_ , wholeheartedly agree with you. That intro tells you so much about the kind of man that he is :Flirty: So amazing....very excited for them and their future together  

So I just noticed it says des poems from all over the world! So she wrote him more poems than the one in ep 6! Hopefully this is what helped him through with confidence! With the poems she was able to back up that she had feelings for him the entire time

the foreword and the cover description is simply touching...i really think many people can relate to his story  . I love that he is so honest and grounded on the rationale of publishing the book. He realized that while it may not a masterpiece, it is still worth to share. I giggle and amazed at the same time! :Flirty: . Des may not realized that by the time she fell in love with her man, we already helplessly fell in love with him!.fast and hard! LOL. . What a guy!!..Des is indeed in a Keeper hand (thanks rc, for the phrase!).

Britt,ITA with you. i was so afraid, folks may think Chris is delusional, bc we didnt get to see any reciprocation from Des, as it only implied by him on his ITMs. Well, except when she was on top of him on the beach scene in Antigua.. - Now i am convinced if we ever get to see the most part of her mutual expression/feeling, we could simply predict who the F1 was and no one would buy what the spoilers said.  
I am so happy for them!!..and i agree with veg..they are in for a life- time ride!!..I have no doubt that they will make it to the altar as their first base.
