Am I the only one who thinks it's bizarre that they would go to Utah? What are they gonna do? Guess Juan's a Mormon? Yes, it's a beautiful state if you enjoy desert and teetolalism but totally freaky for this show...I'm starting to think they are beholden to it. Is ABC Mormon? If they go to Utah it makes 5 seasons in a row with Utah connections that I recall. Michelle, Bent, Jef, Dianna, Brooks. I'm sure I'm forgeting someone?

No Juan is not mormon.... and there are plenty of things to do in Utah that have nothing to do with the LSD church...lol

I wonder if you are right and they filmed the 1st epi on Monday into Tuesday, because I don't buy them filming Wed and heading straight off to film in a race on Thurs.

I think OP was speaking more tongue in cheek and the basic question is why would they be there?? Why? Given where the main is from, given where the Meat and Geek locale is--it really makes no sense unless once again we will have a cast person miraculously from this locale.

I agree that it makes no sense for JuanPa, the first Latin lead, to go to Utah. If TB took this season seriously at all they would be in Miami where the girls could learn something about JuanPa's life, like they did Ben's season. Hiking or fishing or spelunking or anything Utah just is not Juanpa! :laughingoutlou

All I can figure is that there must be a lot of pyramid scheme money luring TB to Utah. Rolling Eyes

I think they are staying in CA for a little while. TPTB have definitely rented a pad for Juan Pablo to stay in (near the mansion) and its one they have not used before.
