So strange. Where did you see that? I was watching twitter like a hawk and found nothing. Even RS, not that he's always right, just posted this morning that he thinks filming will take place tonight. Could the whole first night filming have slipped past him? PLUS, didn't Robert Mills say they would be tweeting throughout the arrivals? For Des, they posted when each limo came, etc. and nothing at all like that last night. If it was last night ( I believe you) I think it's weird that they didn't post ANYTHING about it. Kind of misleading of them to say they would be "tweeting live" and give absolutely no info. Tease. lol

I don't think they would pretend to film and then tweet the next day about it. Why? There's no big deal on the first night.

I know Juanpa (JP will always be Ashley's JP to me) tweeted that he would be taking breaks to tweet himself (which is stupid, so I hope not). The guy sounds like he is going to go through twitter withdrawl already.

So do you think they did or did not film last night? I didn't mean to imply that I think they pretended to film. If they did do the first rose ceremony last night, I just think it's weird they didn't say anything about the actual arrivals of the girls like they said they were going to.

I don't know if they filmed or not, but I am going with they didn't. I don't see any tweets indicating they did and don't get why they would pretend they didn't, if they did.

When I was scouting for other potential contestants, I hit the jack pot and her family was very accesible over FB; she has not been confirmed by RS yet but her name has been mentioned here..;
I've been told that filming has already started and that she is already on her way back home;(

Per RS filming starts tonight.

Looks like the “Bachelor” filming will begin tonight at the mansion. I’ve given you 5 of the girls. Right now, I have 10 other names and profiles of girls that I THINK are on the show. Still waiting for a bit more confirmation, plus seeing if any of them end up being alternates and never make the first night. I would think tomorrow or Thursday, I’ll roll out a few more names for you that I’m more solid on. With that said, if two of the girls that I’ve been given end up being on the show, well, lets just say that’ll make for an interesting casting decision. Not really sure we’ve ever seen something like it before. However, I’m not convinced both of them are on it yet, so it might not even be a story. We’ll see. I really start to question some of the people that decide to go on this show. I understand most are looking at it as an opportunity to better their career in the media, or just to be more well known and be in magazines, but is it really worth it when a simple Google search can pull up some not so flattering things about you? Personally, I don’t think it’s worth it but apparently these people do. Juan Pablo definitely has his fair share of women with some, shall we say, interesting backgrounds this season. I've never known them to start on a Monday...

Emily: March 14th 2012 (Wednesday)
Sean: September 20th 2012 (Thursday)
Des: March 14th 2013 (Thursday)

chloep, They might have started filming JP's introduction segment... for example; when he arrives at his new house, gets settled in, works out shirtless, gets his new car, etc.

As far as the contestant that was sent home, they bring more then 25 contestants to LA and will eliminate some last minute. I know of an instance where they told a girl she was too "normal" and she was sent home. They have also sent people home that have blabbed they were going on the show.

..... OR they started last night! In which case, I'm outta here! See you guys in January!

I agree with noobsleuth and the gal might have been one of the girls that didn't make the 25.

Brad2 definitely started on a Monday. He was in the audience of DWTS )Premiere) and introduced on that show that night.

I was talking about "The Bachelor" not Bachette and Sean's season started on the 24th not 20th;) TB kicked off filming on a Monday for the last 6+ years.

as for the girl, I messaged her mom again but to me it sounded like she was eliminated at the first rose ceremony.... she just said that her daughter called at 6am and that she had already been sent home...

They do fly extras out. Perhaps she was told last night (late) that she didn't make the cut.... and waited until a slightly reasonable hour to call home.
