It has been so quite around here lately....

Soooo... the FRC is supposed to take place either tomorrow or Wednesday.

My "guess":
F3 - Clare
F2 - Andi (next Bachelorette)

I know I said that Nikki wouldn't be the F1, but sadly this by the process of elimination...
Clare's HTD was really bad according to insiders, and Andi is just way to accomplished and intelligent for JP, IMO...
I still maintain that Nikki is not really into him though...which is kinda sad because while I am definitely not a fan of him as the lead, I DO think that he is probably a halfway decent guy. Therefore, I DID hope that he'd find a sweet, nurturing, fun (spanish speaking) girl...

Yeah...I'm not really buying him as that much of prize or really looking for anyone long term...no matter how much he says he wants a mom for Camilla...I'm sure we'll hear that about a million times. And I agree, I would love for the F1 to say, thanks, but, no thanks...you're just not the person I thought you were.

I agree! I never, and will never believe that this cad did the show to find a mother for his daughter and a wife. I don't buy it either. Therefore, I expect a lot of scripting and a lot of lies from the lead and the girls.

I think ABC/The Bachelor organization only chose him because they wanted a minority lead to fulfill the requests of many bachelor fans.

Once that request is done, there will never be another JPG on the show.

Because Nikki is/was a model, I have to agree with you. I believe his ex was a model. She looks like his type. :yes:

The only other possible scenario would be Nikki as the next Bachelorette. As far as Andi, not sure someone who is a successful attorney living in another city, would up and leave her practice to become his wife and a new stepmom. She could be ready for a change though! Hugesmile

I don't know that much about claire, but seems like she is definitely in a better place to move across the country to be with him.

I think I will just have to wait for the edit! I actually like knowing who the final three are so I can focus on the edit and "storyboard" tptb put together. :Smiley:

I know I'm probably in the minority but I think they chose him because Jef Holm turned them down at the last minute. Lots of hints that they were courting him, then suddenly Juan P. Jef made a comment just before the announcement that he didn't want it: even though he had said before that he did. I think they could not come to terms on him as the lead. He would have been a great lead. People love him or hate him: either way they would have had people talking ( and probably watching.)

I listened to an interview Zak Waddell did and he said he was in the running with Juan Pablo, and when he found out it was JP, he backed-out. Interesting!

Personally, I think it is time the franchise find new faces and quit recycling the same faces. That could be a reason why Desiree's season was so boring. Same ole, same ole faces.

Jef made a comment just before the announcement that he didn't want it: even though he had said before that he did. I think they could not come to terms on him as the lead. They never would have chosen Jef because they knew, based on his antics at the end of Emily's season, that they could not control his social media "mouth." TPTB are control freaks. That's why they wont go with anyone new. I think they would have given up any perceived good ratings for Jef because they are convinced they can make anyone successful as the lead.

Someone apparently gave him the heads up that he lost his bid and JuanPa TM got the nod.

The new lead that was the Bachelor Canada wasnt boring in the least. I look forward to season 2 of that show. But then again - it's a different group of producers and they took many risks -not just in their choice of Brad Smith as lead.

I stop by here every week or two just to see if there are any legitimate spoilers. I cannot believe that there are a couple of you who "live" here (based on the amount of posts) who make it clear that you detest this show and only wish it to be a failure. I have to wonder why someone would waste time being negative about a season that one has never seen (and contestants never met) INSTEAD of choosing something positive to devote precious time to. Makes no sense to me.

My guess is that each of those folks, no matter what they claim now, will be watching and re-watching every moment of the upcoming season. We'll see...

Well Clare is still not home as per my source. However that doesn't tell us much as the F3 are often kept there until after the FRC. I'll keep my eyes & ears open.
