ABC's The Bachelor filmed on location at Cap Maison, Jake's Season with his last 3 contestants. The owner shared with us they will be back here next season and this is the first time they have gone back to the same location. We found out why, it is absolutely GORGEOUS. I know it's out there (Mr. Write, right?) that JuanPa's finishing up in Brazil- though I think the latest I've seen from another poster is that it's St. Lucia for Juan Pa (I'm clearly not following closely enough). Looks as if there will be "Bachelor Brazil" from this article.

Long-running ABC relationship/reality hit “The Bachelor” is now being produced in Brazil care of Warner Bros. International Television Distribution. An upcoming 11-episode season set in Brazil (including a feature length special) has been commissioned by Rede TV! to be produced in-house for fall 2014, marking the first time the reality show has even been produced in Latin America.

“Passion, romance, drama, love, fire and lust – the hallmarks of the Latin American approach to relationships are all encapsulated in the Bachelor format,” said Andrew Zein, SVP, Creative, Format Development. “We expect Brazil to fall hard for The Bachelor.”

l didnt mean it to come across like that l went and read it expecting to read more and realized it was a short article so l thought to save others their time ld just posted it for all to read.  lt seems those that try to follow ABC Bachelor arent as successful ie: AU Bachelor l think l read somewhere that they had to change the airing date from the original airing startedto a diff day of the wk. Yet l heard good feed back about the Canada Bachelor so who knows.

Did you guys see the 'Bachelorette' version in India? Ugh. It's even worse than the US version!

It hasn't been doing well in the ratings in Australia nor India, so I don't get why all these countries are going gaga over creating another one. I guess how cheap they are to do?

Bachelor Canada did quite well in the ratings. It also (shocker) resulted in a successful couple. :)

I know there is a really popular South American program that is a Bachelor knock-off. They have roses and everything... It is not affiliated with or produced by Warner. It does well, I think. People watch it here on Telemundo.
