He was using the forward facing camera so everything is a mirror image. The hand she's using to hold her phone is her right hand. Sean's left hand is the one with the watch so her left is furthest from the camera.

It's a front facing camera. To the left is actually the left. Sean wears his watch on his left as well. Both Cats ring and Sean's watch are on their left hands. It just appears to be backwards.
