Chris Siegfried -Bachelorette Contestant - Spoilers - Discussion

Guys if she is engaged to chris and rejects brooks to me that will be the most dramatic , exciting, etc etc finale ever! If she is engaged to brooks nothing about that will be dramatic, exciting, or even romantic in the tiniest bit, rather anticlimactic considering all the spoilers..... But if they are wrong that will be a profound moment for a show that is always spoiled for most viewers who won't be expecting it.

I find that they write their tweets as if they don't know anything about the spoilers. :lala:

Not that I put a lot of stock in what Ali Fedotowsky blogs but in her last blog she mentioned that it's possible that Des took time out to date the person she ended up with post filiming. Wondering if the engagement itself will happen on AFTR, just a thought of another possibility that might be more accepting by the court of public opinion

I think she did leave the FRC not engaged...but maybe to night or Later on..I can see her wanting to Date for a while..Regardless who she chose..

RS is firmly sticking to his spoiler that Des is engaged to Brooks. He also said that the fact that they spend 45 minutes of part 1 on his break up supports the fact that he is still very much a part of this show or they wouldn't have put so much time into those scenes (or something to that effect). I will say they have certainly done a good job of deception and misdirection as to confuse a lot of people as to the ending. I don't care what it is as long as Chris is happy with how it works out.

On another note, have you seen Elan Gale's tweets today....he said "he guarantees the most explosive most exciting most surprising most dramatic episode of #the bachelorette in history#most everything". I know they are aware of the spoilers so not sure why he is stressing all these if something out of the ordinary is not going to go down tonight, wishful thinking I guess on my part

Hazarding a guess. I  don't think he's telling us he didn't get it, so...

VO "After tonight, I want him down on one knee" (we haven't heard that, right?) - mmmmmm?????? Something goes down at night, possibly.

It's about 3 p.m. CST in southeast Texas...keeping hope alive...4 hours to go here...

Well if she is engaged to brooks I'm not gonna jump out of my seat thinking wow I didn't expect that!!!! Like i said it will be very.... Anticlimactic. I want something exciting to happen for a change. Maybe I should go unspoiled next season.

If brooks does indeed return they will still need some doubt for him going into frc up against chris. So I'm thinking the lines "after tonight I .......... One knee" could be about chris and possibly the "I love this man" line. Even if she still chooses brooks they will want some suspense that she could have potentially changed her mind after brooks left( and there is a chance she could have)!

I am still holding on to my shred of hope that Chris gives her that open heart necklace in the evening portion of his LCD. He did mention open heart twice in one of his poems and for some reason I think that necklace is given to her by her F1. I think that tweet with the picture of the necklace was a clue to her F1. I remember Sean tweeted a picture of a Starbucks cup with some message that he couldn't live it without before his season was over and that was a clue pointing directly at Catherine. Probably just wishful thinking again! 

In Chrisville, all media, pics, news is relevant at this point. ABC is still pushing Brooks returning...published today.

Last week on “The Bachelorette,” Desiree Hartsock had her heart broken by front-runner Brooks, who left the show early. But in a new interview, host Chris Harrison explained that he could still change his mind.

“It’s absolutely possible for him to come back in the game,” Harrison told reporters via a press call. “She may be open to it or maybe she learned her lesson and he’s not the guy anymore. … He has a history of not quite being able to commit.”

Harrison, who called the early departure a “curveball,” added that during their conversation, Brooks seemed “wishy-washy.”

“There are definitely regrets,” he said. “He was in tears and emotionally crushed once Des started professing her love. He said as much.”

But it’s unlikely that Brooks would be next season’s “Bachelor.”

“He obviously has trouble committing and although he was sincere in coming on the show, he definitely has trouble expressing himself and letting himself be vulnerable when push comes to shove,” Harrison said. “The reason the last two seasons have been so good is that Sean [Lowe] and Des did that really well. I don’t know if Brooks has it in him to be so open.”
