JOIN DESIREE TO LOOK BACK AT THE SHOCKING OUTCOME OF THEIR JOURNEY,
LIVE, ON "THE BACHELORETTE: AFTER THE FINAL ROSE"

"Episode 910 --Season Finale, Part 2" -  After enduring heartbreak when Sean Lowe sent her home last season on "The Bachelor," Desiree Hartsock refused to give up her fairytale dream of romance, and she returned for a second chance at love. After surviving shocking twists and turns, Desiree narrowed down the 25 bachelors to three fabulous guys - Brooks, Chris and Drew. While she was ready to give her heart completely to Brooks, he did not share her feelings. Desiree was expecting fireworks when she met Brooks in Antigua, but when he broke up with her very unexpectedly, she was left crying at the edge of a dock, devastated, heartbroken, hopeless and ready to go home. In this week's emotional conclusion, Desiree must decide if she can move forward with the other two men or if her hope of finding love has been ruined. Part 2 of the Season Finale of "The Bachelorette" airs MONDAY, AUGUST 5 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Then, emotions run high as Desiree sits down with Chris Harrison, live, to talk about her three final bachelors from this season - Brooks, Chris and Drew. She will take viewers back to those final days in Antigua when Brooks, the man she fell in love with, decided to go home. She will discuss her feelings in those finals days, her relationships with the final three men and the heart-wrenching decisions that she had to make that changed their lives forever. Brooks, Chris and Drew are back to discuss the shocking outcome of the season. It's the poignant ending to Desiree's heartfelt journey to find true love, live, on "The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose," MONDAY, AUGUST 5 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET).

Desiree must decide if her chemistry with the remaining two men has the potential to be as intense as the chemistry she had with Brooks, who she thought was the love of her life. She confronts these life-changing decisions in a discussion with Chris Harrison, weighing the possibilities of a life with Chris or Drew. Drew, a sweet, compassionate and caring man, is completely in love with her. Chris has remained confident in their connection throughout the emotional rollercoaster ride. Desiree sees a relationship blossoming with him as well.

After breaking down in tears with Chris Harrison, she is ready to face the final two men. In a moving confession, she tells them that Brooks has decided to leave. How will the men react when they learn of her feelings for Brooks?

The final days of Desiree's journey are filled with questions. If she does see promise in either Chris or Drew, will she introduce them to her family? Whether they meet her family or not, will Desiree's brother, Nate, play a role in sabotaging her quest for love again? Desiree must look inward and consider if the love she has always wanted is right in front of her, or if her heartache over Brooks' lost love will crush her dreams of finding a soul mate.

Drew, 27, a digital marketing analyst from Scottsdale, AZ

AND I am back, finally. Just finished watching mondays episode. I feel so angry for Chris and Drew. I really hope Des does not let any of them propose to her, it would not be right!

Through out this entire season, for me of course, Chris has been the guy that has been steady, straight and true for Des, overshadowed by Brooks/Des, but always in the background, strong and supportive, building a relationship with Des that has all the essentials to move forward....I think Des was so excited by her love crush on Brooks that she didn't realize that she really was building a solid foundation with Chris (jmo) because she never considered Brooks would leave..So following Brooks' departure, I think that Chris will be the guy that says, I know what we have and I am gonna wait for you to know it too and I am not leaving..

I do think Brooks comes back and Des may think she will pick him and may even let Chris go...but I think there is a great possibility that the final final result may be Chris (mesnick style).

Just because Des may have chosen Brooks if he stayed does not mean (to me) that she doesn't love Chris or can't be as "in love" with Chris. I saw all the elements between them...I believe if Brooks is removed from the equation, Des will "focus" and see that what she wants and needs is "standing right in front of her".....

wow, this is the kind of reasoning that is used by many for those who are gay...  if they would just stand still and focus and see that being gay is wrong and being straight is the only way, they will come around.  you cannot be what you're not, you cannot feel what you don't, your heart cannot change that quickly.  the kind of self-realization you are speaking of comes with time.

Chris is a great guy... he will make a great bachelor if he decides to go that way.  if not there is some woman out there who is the ying to his yang. but I would seriously wonder if Des chooses him in the end and that he goes along with it.  he was the most aware of Brooks and Des' relationship, you can tell that by the way he watches them, the things he said about Brooks.  I think when Des tells him about Brooks leaving he will stand by her cause he does love her, but I think that is the only reason.  I believe he will be willing to propose to give Des an ending to this series, but I believe it would be a half-hearted proposal (he will want to do the right thing for her, to help her save face).

My favorite part from last night's date was when he said he wanted to watch the stars with Des after she gave him the date card, just to take the focus away from what the FS suite implied...such a gentleman. Oh Des, you will never find another one like this one!!!

No she won't!!!!! I also noticed this and think its my fav part also! He also said no expectations... What a rare gem for this show.

Thanks, Britt! I think most people glossed over this tiny tidbit but once again, it's the little things about Chris that reminds you what a class act he is. I cannot say this enough but his parents raised him well

Back to this. GMA Exclusive aired before the season began. It mainly focuses on the 3. Notice how much Brooks is in there, and all the hot kisses with Drew up until the Barcelona date. But listen to the words of the song and how it fits her journey. Starting with the first glimpse of her (remember the poem mentioning his first meetings that I've now agreed with other posters is referring to reaching for a rose (red). Anyway, the song video shows the emotional breakup with Sean - then focuses a lot on Bryden (showing the heart in sand beach scene that someone here mentioned she also had with Chris). This video makes it look like Bryden was a front runner. We know in her mind he was, but not in his. Drew is the only one of the F3 featured in the men coming out of the limo.
Then lots and lots of interaction with Brooks - all from the first date (interesting, huh?) When the song says "nobody knows how fate works in your life" it switches back to Sean and her, indicating why she is now available. It shows some Drew, and then when we get back to the mantra of "yes to love" it is several scenes of her and Chris from the Munich date, a rooftop view of her overlooking some city, then a closeup of several guys with Chris in the place best to be noticed. (For JEMILY watchers, they did the same with Jef on that date where they wore kilts and watched the movies. That scene was shown over and over in the previews.) They flash some scenes of the city, then show her and Chris again closeup walking. Then switch to their kiss while dancing in the ballroom, then it switches to her and Brooks kissing in the bridal clothes, then goes to Desiree ITM (onscreen) "I am ready to find the man of my dreams" - another closeup of her and the words intermixed "It's Desiree's turn to dream" in 2 different frames, then guess what? the last frame shown is the dancing with Chris in the ballroom (in shadow this time) before it goes back to Desiree. No more Drew is shown at the end. Think, ladies, and take hope in the fact about how many times that shadowy ballroom dance is shown in all of the season specific previews. This video tells a story. Also, JEMILY and Sean/Cat fans, what did we see consistently in both Emily and Sean's season previews? Two shots - with Emily it was the shadowy kiss of the FD on the boat (which we figured out was with Jef) and with Sean/Cat it was the kiss from the back in the private pool on the FD. What have we been shown as the last frame or close to it, certainly sprinkled throughout all the season previews? That shadowy dance - where the viewer up until that happens - had to guess who it was.

The story shows a frame of Brooks and her kissing in the wedding clothes right after the dance kiss with Chris, but who is shown last (her w/Chris) - and who is never shown again (Drew)? I think it will be down to Brooks and Chris at the end. If he is not there in person, the specter of him is. Hoping my view of the story is right.

Something to note: no current views of any of the last few dates, especially the Madiera mountaintop date. On a TV guide interview on Youtube, I noted this - Desiree herself was previewing night 1. The last Night 1 scene was Chris (shown as one that was creative and got her attention). Remember her line in her poem, "Instant attraction was found?" Who did she reference in her blog for Night 1? Chris - and Zak - of the F4. All of these things were done after her season finished, when she knew her pick. Just saying. Hope springs eternal.



One more thing. I think we sleuthers know Ali Fedotowski is on board for Chris to win. Where did she get this picture of Chris and Des on the first night? Have we ever seen it on the main site? Do you remember the one of Sean/Cat from the first night that was online, but not on the ABC site?



Clues? Hints? Wishful thinking? In an interview with Elliot in the morning, she mentions Barcelona as being her favorite place. (Bedroom sharing of her poem with Chris - Chris H. referencing him as the surprise star on that date - but also one-on-one date with Drew, so...)

Sprinkled throughout those last season ender previews is Chris' declaration that he wants her for the rest of their lives. Some end with them. Just saying...and trying to keep our hope alive. (Forgive any clear misspells or grammar stuff.)
