I agree with Britt, odd choice indeed to use his ABC profile pic. I'm scratching my head at that one too and I think he was told to use it. I'm pissed coz I really like that pool pic. He looked happy and mischievous and showed his fun personality. Chris, if you're reading this, we want that picture back!!!

Like most of you, I would rather he ran away from this franchise as fast as he can but as mp and mercieme have said it may be too late. I really hope not, though coz Chris deserves better than this mess. What I would give to find out what that filming last Thursday was all about.....

BM I'm thinking maybe TPTB told him to or maybe after watching that dumpster fire last night he didn't want any more talk about him and safe house.  That had to be really unpleasant for him and Drew to watch last night.  What are Chris' parents and siblings thinking after watching that train wreck last night and Chris and Drew really getting dumped on Des in what she said to Brooks?  I still say run as fast as you can Chris away from anything to do with this gawd awful franchise - you are too good for Des and the franchise.  

Mura I see we were posting at the same time and yes I'm thinking the same that he was probably pissed off with what he saw last night.  I just wish he didn't use the ABC bio picture because it is not that great of him IMO and I don't want him around this franchise.

With everything unfolding, just seems more likely he is F1, I think it's too late for him to duck and run from the franchise if that's the case.

yeah..all the signs pointing him as the F1...( i will post points about Des blog later ). ITA with you mercieme, Too bad its too late for him to run..!! i just hope he will stay true to himself regardless the outcome, become stronger than ever after this experience, and let no one esp. TPTB dictate his life.

I haven't commented on last night in this thread. I wanted to think it through before I posted my thoughts. I have seen so many different reactions and I get them all. With that said...

I think Dez's first date did her in. We have Brooks and Dez sitting on top of " Hollywood" with the world at their feet. She can see her dreams coming true. Brooks was having fun... Dez was having "visions of life with Brooks" from that day forward. She never looked back until Antigua. As someone else described Brooks.."a skipper." That's okay as it seems to work well for him. From what Dez has said of her childhood... her dad may have been somewhat of a "skipper." I'm not sure Dez has even known "stability" unless she was the source. I'm so hoping she finds her "safe place" filled with love and hope after all is said and done. You can have it all.

I get the tears from Dez. Sean broke her heart. She was the front runner going into HTD. She did not expect her brother to erase her entire journey of happiness. But as we all know, he did. Then there is Brooks...yet again, she's blindsided. She's dealt with Bryden, Ben, James and now Brooks. And along comes someone who she laughs with, loves being with and will protect her heart. Does she let it go? I say not... cause she finally gets it....she's my girl.

And last but not least as a reminder....
I stopped watching Ashley's season after she crawled into that bed bawling her eyes out and Bentley described her as ugly. Oh GAWD... I was fuming! No way was I going to watch that train wreck. I was furious with TPTB. And lo and behold, season ends and next thing I know she's happier than a pig in slop. She finally found her Prince Charming.

I think my reply got lost. Why that pic? It is the week leading up to the finale. My take...That is the guy that Dez chose among all the pics of her bachelors... last pic standing alone. Wait and see.

I haven't posted a lot here, but I just wanted to jump on the Chris train! I like him best for Des, but not for the Bachelor...if he's not F1 I'm hoping he'll stay far away from this franchise. Can someone bring over his old twitter pic from a possible safe house visit? I'm not on twitter, so I never saw it. Thanks!

From what I am reading, our sentiments are all over the place   
we are excited by the fact that Chris could be F1 but at the same time because of what happened last night, we are not sure we can be truly happy for him. We all agree he is too good for this franchise and should ran from it, yet we also want him to be the next bachelor if he is not F1   this is the first season I've been so invested in a contestant, I didn't realize it can get really exhausting.

If Chris is her F1, he was somewhat prepped for last nights episode. Even I knew from the previews, it was going to be rough. But, was tougher to watch than I thought it would be. So, I'm sure Chris wasn't exactly thrilled. But if he is her F1, you have to remember...he knows the happiness that he's filled with now and understands the journey...so I think he's okay. We'll see. I could be totally wrong. But he was definitely more prepared than a fan would be.
