Native, love your love description... "passion and closeness and intensity and intimacy and a sharing"... I would add vulnerability. And that's what I see Drew, in particular, is offering that may have Des backing off in fear... I mean that vulnerability piece is very scary. And I said it earlier, chasing Brooks would prevent Des from being able to be vulnerable. Vulnerability only comes with deep trust... and I mean, how can you trust someone that hasn't yet committed?

Well Des did say she trust Drew completely. Even in her blog (one of the very few honourable mentions he has received).

And it's a two way street - especially the sharing part - it's all those emotions coming from two sides and joining together. When it only comes from one side it's not love - maybe more like a crush. And I agree with what seems to be a number of others here (though surely not all) that I see this as a one way street with Des giving but not receiving in kind from Brooks.

Did you all hear what she said when leaving Drew ? I could barely hear. But one thing I definitely heard was when he said I love you for the second time and kissed her, then said thank you she said thank you back.
There was another thing she whispered but I couldn't hear.

Sincerely speaking, I do not have my head up my whatever where this show is concerned. If the message of that promo is to make us believe that Drew leaves, then I think it looks better for him than bad. The promos are usually done in a switch and bait fashion, unless they have decided to show stuff as is this season.

How many times we need to tell people enough SCs supporting Drew had 2 dates in Antigua?? deadhorse
