i know there is a perfect English term for this, but my slow brain couldnt reach it due to the over-work for the full almost 3 months......(baking one in the pan?..clap3 ).

At this point I have no intention of upsetting any of the staunch Drew and Brooks fans here, but I am just riding This Amazing Journey out as a silly nitwit renegade.

That was borrowed from a cartoon screencap of Chuck Jones' BOYHOOD DAZE.

All we got were words and the two holding hands this season. We were spoiled two years ago when Ilene Rosenbaum gave Ashley Hebert a VISUAL "maternal dream" with a bit more hair.

I always thought he was referring to reaching for a red rose.

ITA.  Not to discount all the wonderful red findings - but - when Chris wrote the poem, he was referring to the rose ceremonies, where her dress is so perfect and she looks so cute, reaching for a red rose, symbolizing a chance she wants to take with that particular guy.  

i get it now...but for ones who like to speculate- like me?  - all of the fun imagination (hopefully) are welcome :Smiley:

Was it at the airport? If so, we have Thurs. afternoon (time with Elan) filming something, Friday... playing golf with buddies,  Sat/Sun weekend with parents. Is he going back to work on Monday. That's what I want to know. This is a big week for the F1. Just saying!

No. it were from houses with fans. just trace back few pages from here. Brooks was spotted in SLC too. For all i know, all of the F3 must stay low-key during the upcoming week. What are you up to?

Sorry, I made it difficult to follow me... Portland is a LONG way from Seattle for him to be there just taking pics with fans. I don't know where his flight from Seattle would fly into...my reasoning was he was in Oregon so that lead to me thinking he visited his parents at some point. Anyway, does he leave Oregon and fly back to Seattle? He's been on the go since Thursday for sure. Now does he return to work on Monday?

mp, yes, I am pretty sure that the main reason for the weekend in Oregon was to visit with his parents. One of the fan pics looked like it was taken at a restaurant and tweeted yesterday. This morning, he posted a pic with the caption "riding all the way to the bank" which I took to mean he is back to work today. He definitely has been a busy bee this weekend!

That pic was taken on Thursday with Elan. As discussed it's the huge piggy bank that is so popular in Seattle. It's used for charities. I don't think it relates to work. But that's just me. In fact, that could be the very reason Chris was sitting on it... to bring awareness to the charities it represents. To me, that would be SOOO Chris.

yes, so many possible meanings to that caption. Chris works for Homestreet Bank as a loan officer. Last week (can't recall what day it was) they tweeted their support for Chris and his bachelorette journey. A few hours later, I looked it up again coz I wanted to share it here and the tweet was gone! :Frown:
